Player Roles
Startupper
The Startupper is an entrepreneur that is trying to create strong Projects that will triumph over the Market Leader's already-established Projects. You start with the least amount of funds but with the most Shares from your Projects. Only you know how strong or weak your Projects are through your Secret Parameters tokens selection; bluffing your way into selling weak Projects at a big price is your best chance for cash flow.
BPO
The Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) or BPO is offering solutions that will strengthen any Project — for a price of course. The BPO's main strategy usually is helping the Projects that he has invested in and staying useful to everyone. The more other players use their services, the more profit they can collect.
Angel Investor
The Angel Investor tries to make the most of the Market by selling and buying Shares at the optimal moment. They can offer some very enticing boosts and bonuses for every Project if they get a piece of the final profit. One of the Angel Investor's best strategies is making the other players believe that a Project is stronger or weaker than it really is.
Market Leader
The Market Leader starts with the highest amount of funds and already established Projects. All they must do is prevent everyone else's progress so they can stay on top. By placing traps on the Pipeline for the Startupper's Projects and using "take that" effects, they prevent anyone else from taking the lead. If any of the Startupper's Projects get strong enough, the Market Leader will probably want to try to buy it, exploiting the Startupper's need for cash flow.

Setup
Assemble Credit Cards
Assemble the credit cards following the instructions in the above image. These cards indicate the amount of million each player has at any moment throughout the game.
Setup Steps
- Place the main board in the middle of the table.
- Each player takes on a role and the corresponding components.
- Shuffle the three remaining Shares and place them randomly on the Market in the middle slots of the last row (7, 6, and 5 million).
- Give each player one of each resource (Like, Experience, Innovation), three Workers.
- Place a Design, Development, and Market cube on each of the Market Leader's Projects.
- Shuffle the Bull and Bear tokens and randomly place three face-down, one on each Pipeline. Then place a Market Size cube in the middle position of the track.
- Shuffle the Social Hype tokens and place them randomly on the Social Hype Track.
- Place the Player Role tokens on the Brand Equity track at their starting positions.
- Shuffle the Events deck and place it face-down in its location on the board.
- The Startupper places a Project on a Pipeline and assigns a Secret Parameters token to it. Each Project is facing another in each Pipeline. In the first Pipeline Meeplebook is competing MiniaturePrime; in the second one, Cardflix is facing Boardtube; and in the third one, Dicecoin is facing Eturnium.
- Place the remaining components within the reach of all players.
- Each player draws 4 cards at the beginning of the game. In your first plays, we suggest that each player starts with specific starting cards according to their roles. When you are familiar with the game, draw 6 cards and choose 4 to keep, shuffling the rest in your deck.
Role Setup
Startupper: Credit card; 3 Project tiles; the Startupper deck; 3 Shares of each of their Projects (Miniature Prime, Eturnium, & BoardTube); 6 Secret Parameters tokens; 10 million. Starting cards: Project Planning, Mentoring, UX Workshop, Exit Strategy.
BPO: Credit card; the BPO deck; 1 Share of each Project; 15 million. Starting cards: Coding Collaboration, Outsource Design, Project Joint Venture, Ghost in the Shell.
Market Leader: Credit card; the Market Leader deck; 2 Shares of each of their Projects (Meeplebook, Cardflix, & Dicecoin); 25 million. Starting cards: Hackers, Late Night Party, Foreclosure, Aggressive Acquisition.
Angel Investor: Credit card; the Angel Investor deck; one Share of each Project; 20 million. Starting cards: Leverage, Boot Strapping, VC: Vision, Initial Offering.
Player Count and Roles
2-Player game: In a 2-player game, one player will take the role of Startupper and the other of Market Leader for a head-on duel! Take all the Worker placement cards (see page 9) from the decks of Angel Investor and BPO and create a deck for each one. At the start of every round, reveal the top card of each deck and place it in one of the two Worker placement locations on the main board. At the end of each round, discard the cards as two new ones will be revealed next round. In a 2-player game, place 2 Shares of each Project next to the board. At the Event phase of each round they will enter the Market following the instruction on page 16.
3-Player game: In a 3-player game, one player will take the role of Startupper, another player the role of Market Leader, and the third player can choose between the BPO and Angel Investor roles. As in a 2-player game, take the Worker placement cards from the deck of the role that wasn't chosen and create a deck. Each round, reveal the top card and place it in one of the Worker placement locations on the player board; at the end of the round, discard that card. In a 3-player game, place 1 Share of each Project next to the board. At the Event phase of each round they will enter the Market following the instruction on page 16.
4-Player game: In a 4-player game, all roles are chosen. The stakes are high, and all is fair in business and war. For the first round of the game, the Startupper plays first followed by the BPO, then the Angel Investor, and lastly the Market Leader. We suggest that when setting up the game you sit in positions that allow for this order to naturally occur clockwise. This makes it more confusing, as it was just stated that the Startupper is the first player. I don't think you need the example.
Game Overview
Each game consists of six rounds and each round consists of three phases: the Operations phase, the Project phase, and the Event phase. During the Operations phase, the players will allocate Workers to claim numerous benefits and play cards from their decks. During the Project phase, each Project on a row (Pipeline) will trigger all the cards on its column (Workflow) and move forward one step. During the Events phase, an Event is revealed that will show the public's activity on the Market.
Round Overview
After each player has placed their last Worker, resolve the round by performing the following steps:
- For each Project, resolve its Workflow. Read more about resolving Workflow later in this page.
- Each Project moves one step in its Pipeline.
- Reveal an Event card and resolve each action from top to bottom.
- Discard any Worker Placement cards used in this round and return all Workers to the players.
Turns
During their turn, a player will place a Worker on either one of the available locations on the board or one of the BPO's or Angel Investor's cards that are already placed on the board. When placing a Worker in one of the Worker placement locations always place the Worker in the topmost slot, perform the corresponding action and move it to one slot below performing the next action and so forth until you reach the last available slot. See more on Worker placement on page 11.
Resolving Workflow
Simultaneously resolve all cards in the Workflow of a Project to create the total outcome of all actions. If the order of resolution of any action matters in the outcome, resolve it from top to bottom. Read more on resolving Workflow on page 15.
Game End – Winning the Game
At the end of the sixth round, the game ends; resolve the final scoring following the instructions on page 17 to determine the total net worth of each player. The player with the most wealth amassed is the winner.
Projects
Projects Overview
Each Project of the game represents an ambitious product that will excite the consumers and has the potential to dominate the market! Maybe it is a streaming service that will enchant the audience, or a social platform that everybody will use to connect, or even a new crypto currency that will sweep the market and everybody will want to invest early. Each Project of the game is represented by a Project Tile.
The Market Leader's Projects are printed on the main board and the Startupper's are separate components. To be successful a Project needs to have at least one Design cube, one Development cube, and one Marketing cube on top of it at the end of the game; otherwise, the Project is considered to have failed and its Shares are worth nothing at the end of the game. Players can place or remove cubes from Projects with various actions, most commonly by playing cards.
Design, Development, and Marketing cubes represent the work that needs to be done for the Project to be successful and win over the competition.
Important: Note that all actions in the game that remove a Project cube (Design, Development, or Marketing) can never remove the last Design, Development or Marketing cube. The only exception is the changes that happen from the Secret Parameters token at the end of the game.
Resources
There are 3 main resources in Disrupt: Like, Experience, and Innovation.
Innovation represents the original ideas and out-of-the-box thinking required to design fresh and intriguing projects that will succeed in a competitive market.
Experience represents all the knowledge and tricks of the trade that are needed to develop any project and overcome all the problems that might occur.
Like represents all the mandatory marketing work to raise awareness for any project and make it appealing to the consumers.
At any time, a player can spend any 3 resources to gain 1 Resource of any kind.
Pipeline Steps
Each row on the main board represents a Pipeline. Pipelines represent all the different stages a Project must pass through to be ready to join the market.
The first stage is the Design stage where all the brainstorming happens and the projects get designed from start to finish; this stage is the only one that has 2 steps.
The second stage is the Development stage where ideas come to life and every challenge must be faced and every problem must be solved.
The third and final stage is the Marketing stage—make your project known, make your audience interact with it and with your company, and win the hearts and wallets of consumers!
The next time a Project that is on the Marketing stage would move, place it on the Project area to the right of the Market Leader Project. This Project can no longer be affected by Workflow cards.
Player Cards
Player Cards Overview
Player cards represent all the strategic options a company has, whether long-term plans or immediate actions that would tip the scales in their favor. There are 3 types of player cards in Disrupt: Workflow, Action, and Worker Placement cards.
Workflow Cards
When a player plays a Workflow card, they pay the cost and place it on the Pipelines in any slot matching the color identity of the card. At the end of every round, if there is a Project on the same Workflow, the card will trigger its effects. Each card can only affect the Project that triggers it. Read more on resolving Workflow on page 14.
Card anatomy (as printed): 1. Title of the card. 2. Cost. 3. Million gained for playing the card. 4. Card's owner. 5. Workflow actions. 6. Color Identity.
Worker Placement Cards
When a Worker Placement card is played, it is always placed on one of the two Worker placement locations on the board and stays there until the end of the round it is used. Whenever a card requests payment, it is always paid to the owner of the card. If a Worker Placement card has a cost to be used, it is always paid to the owner of the card; if the owner uses the card he must pay the cost to the public.
Card anatomy (as printed): 1. Title of the card. 2. Cost. 3. Million gained for playing the card. 4. Effect description. 5. Card's owner. 6. Worker Placement.
Action Cards
When a player plays an Action card, they pay the cost of the card and resolve its effect immediately then place the card next to their deck, creating their personal discard pile. Action cards effects can be split in two or more Projects. For example if you play a card that adds two Design cubes you can place one Design cube in two Projects.
Card anatomy (as printed): 1. Title of the card. 2. Cost. 3. Million gained for playing the card. 4. Effect description.
Split and Choose Cards
A special kind of Worker Placement cards is the "split and choose" cards. When a player places a Worker on such a card, they choose how to split the resources listed on the card into two groups. Each group is assigned to one side of the card, adding a monetary value to each group. The owner of the card chooses one group of money and resources; the active player gets the other group.
If the BPO is not in the game, then the player that played immediately before chooses which group the Player who activated the card takes, and the other group returns to the game's pile.
Example: The active player splits the resources in a way that makes certain he will get at least one Innovation. The BPO player decides to choose the left side as she values the two extra Experience tokens more than the three extra million so the active player gets 5 million, 1 Experience, and 1 Innovation token.
Auctions
Whenever a player plays a card that auctions a Share follow these steps:
- In turn order all players bid a value of million higher than the previous one or choose to pass.
- When all players pass the last bidder is the winner of the auction.
- If the player who won the auction is the owner of the Share, they keep the Share and pay the million.
- If the player who won the auction is not the owner of the Share, they take the Share from the previous owner and pay them the amount of million the winner bid.
Example 1: The Startupper plays card Exit Strategy and chooses a Share of the Project BoardTube, believing it is a weak Project that will not pay off in the end. They immediately gain 5 million from playing the card. Market Leader thinks it is a bargain to gain a Share with only 1 million so he bids. The Startupper bids 2 million; gaining effectively only 3 million (5 million from the card minus 2 he needs to bid) and keeping the Share seems like value enough for him at this point. The Market Leader bids 3 million as he still thinks its a bargain to gain a Share for that money. Startupper passes and gets paid 3 million from Market Leader. The Market Leader gains the Share and the Startupper is 8 million wealthier! If the Startupper was greedy he could bid again 4 million to force the Market Leader to pay 5 million; of course that always has the danger of Market Leader saying pass and thus the Startupper to only gain 1 million from the card keeping the Share.
Example 2: The Market Leader really wants a Share of Dicecoin as he really believes that the Project will triumph over the competition. So he plays the card Foreclosure and chooses a Share of Dicecoin the Angel Investor owns. The Angel Investor bids 1 million trying to keep his Share and immediately the Market Leader bids 2 million. This keeps going on until Angel Investor bids 5 million. The Market Leader doesn't value the Share at 6 million so he passes, not having succeeded to gain the Share but forcing the Angel Investor to spend 6 million to keep it.
Operations Phase
Worker Placement
During the Operations Phase, each player places Workers on the available Locations. When placing a Worker on one of the Worker placement locations of the board, always place the Worker in the topmost slot, perform the corresponding action. Then move it one slot below, performing the next action, and so forth until you reach the lowest available slot.
After all players have placed their last Worker, the round proceeds to the Project Phase.
Example: Placing the Worker on the top slot, the player will give any number of Shares to the Market, claiming an equal number of Experience tokens. Then moving to the slot below, they will draw a card, and finally, moving onto the third space, they will progress a Project on Social Hype by 3 steps. Unfortunately, the first player token has already been claimed so this is it for this player's turn.
Buying and Selling a Share
When buying a Share from the Market, spend the amount of million based on which column that Share is in. The owner of the Share gets the same amount of million.
When putting a Share up for sale, select the price you want to sell that Share at and place it in the appropriate Column on the row that corresponds to your role. If you already have some Shares up for sale when you take this action, you may re-arrange all or any of them; you only get Experience resources for each additional Share you put up for sale. Keep in mind that each role can have only one Share to sell for each column.
Example: The Angel Investor takes the Set Up for Sale action while they already have a Dicecoin Share up for sale. They choose to take back the Dicecoin and place a Share of MiniaturePrime at 6 million and a Boardtube Share at 5 million. Before taking this action, Angel Investor had 1 Share up for sale and now they have two, so they will take only 1 additional Experience resource.
Locations
Here is a list explaining each location's action in detail:
- Gain a Like Resource.
- Play a Card.
- Discard any number of cards to progress that many steps on Brand Equity.
- Leverage. Gain the bonus next to your position on Brand Equity or any other bonus below it.
- Put any number of Shares on the Market and gain an equal amount of Experience resources.
- Draw a Card. If your deck runs out, shuffle your discard pile into a new deck.
- Move a Project up three slots on Social Hype.
- Become the first player in the next round.
- Buy any number of Shares on the Market and gain the same amount of Innovation resources.
- Move a Project down two slots on Social Hype.
- Info. Look at the next Event card and one of the Bull & Bear tokens.
- Gain 1 million.
- Discard any number of cards to draw that many cards.
- Increase or Decrease the Market Size of a Pipeline by one step.
Brand Equity Track
All players start on the printed slots on the Brand Equity track at the beginning of the game. Each time you discard cards to progress on Brand Equity, you move your Player Role token as many steps as the number of cards you discarded. The first 5 steps of the track can be shared by two Player Role tokens and the last 4 can hold only one.
When two player tokens are on the same position on Brand Equity, the one that is on the left is considered to be higher than the other. When you are in the rightmost position and another player from your left moves up one step, you immediately take their left position. Keep in mind that you cannot place your player token on top of another and you can only move onto an empty space. So if someone reaches the top of the track that position is locked and cannot be claimed from another player.
When using Leverage you can claim the bonus next to your position on the track or you can choose any other bonus below your position.
The first 4 positions of the track also offer an end-game bonus. You gain million depending on where you are on the Brand Equity track and how many resources you have:
- 1st Position: You gain 1 million for every 2 Resources.
- 2nd Position: You gain 1 million for every 3 Resources.
- 3rd Position: You gain 1 million for every 4 Resources.
- 4th Position: You gain 1 million for every 5 Resources.
- Other positions: You do not gain million for your Resources.
Social Hype Track
The Social Hype track is an indicator of how much the public likes or dislikes each Project. It is much easier to sell Shares of a Project with a high amount of Social Hype, so they fetch a higher price. Buying Shares of a Project when the cost is low and then increasing its Social Hype is an excellent strategy to build your wealth!
When you have to move a Project's Social Hype logo, remove it from the row, slide the other Social Hype logos until the new position is available, and return it to the row in its new position.
Market Size Track
The Market Size track shows how interested the general market is in this type of product. If people are all about the streaming services and can't live without them, then the Shares of that kind of Project will have higher value and thus be more desirable. Each Pipeline row has one such track showing what piece of the Market pie these Projects can claim. The higher the cube is on the track, the more valuable the Shares of these Projects will be at the end of the game. Keep in mind that the Bull and Bear token will probably bring sudden changes in the end of the game.
Project Phase
During the Project Phase, each Workflow activates, all Projects move within the Pipeline, and new Projects are placed on the Pipeline. After these steps conclude, move on to the Event Phase.
Resolving Workflow
Follow these steps to resolve Workflow:
- For each card in the Workflow, from top to bottom the owner of the card decides if he wants to trigger the card; there would be certain instances where triggering their card would benefit another player more or exclusively; some cards penalize the other players instead of benefiting you. Before deciding to trigger each of your cards, you may consult with other players and offer or let them offer you any kind of deal. Any player may choose to give you a Share or a number of million to convince you to trigger or not, one of your cards. Once the deal is made and both parties agree, the deal cannot be broken. To make such a deal players may not exchange Innovation, Experience or Like resources, nor can they trade cards.
- Add the total outcome of all actions on the cards and resolve it simultaneously. For example if there is a card that removes a Design cube and another card that adds two Design cubes the Project would only get one Design cube.
List of Card Icons
- Place a Design cube on a Project.
- Place a Development cube on a Project.
- Place a Marketing cube on a Project.
- Remove a Design cube from a Project.
- Remove a Development cube from a Project.
- Remove a Marketing cube from a Project.
- Each player gains 1 million / 2 million for each Share they own of the triggering Project.
- Each player loses 1 million for each Share they own of the triggering Project.
- The owner of the card may spend up to 3 Innovation / Experience / Like to place the same number of Design / Development / Marketing cubes on the triggering Project.
- Increase or decrease the Market Size of a Pipeline row by 1 step.
- Move a Project up 1 step in Social Hype.
Example: Resolving the Workflow for the Eturnium Project would have all players gain 1 million for each Eturnium Project Share they own (1). The Project would not receive a Design cube as the Anxiety Attack card and Crowdfunding card cancel each other out (2).
Moving a Project
Starting from the Project that is farthest along its Pipeline, move each Project one step to the right. Move any Project at the end of the Pipeline across to the Project area.
Place a New Project
If fewer than three Projects are placed in the Pipeline, the Startupper chooses one to place at the first step. When placing a new Project, the Startupper always assigns a Secret Parameters token to it.
Secret Parameters tokens will affect the number of Design, Development, or Marketing cubes the Startupper's Projects are going to have at the end of the game.
Secret Parameters Token
Each Secret Parameter token indicates the hidden strengths and weaknesses of the Project. Each Startupper Project will have one additional cube of one kind and one less of another kind. This means that in most cases, only the Startupper can know for sure which Project will dominate the other or even if a Project will fail, which is a great indicator of how the final scoring will end up.
Example: At the end of the game, MiniaturePrime has 2 Blue (Design), 1 Green (Development), and 3 Orange (Marketing) cubes. During the Final Scoring resolution, the Secret Parameters token is revealed and indicates that this Project didn't have the optimal Design (remove a Blue cube) but had exceptional Development execution (add a Green cube). So the finalized Project will have 1 Blue (Design), 2 Green (Development), and 3 Orange (Marketing) cubes.
Event Phase
During the Event phase, an Event card is revealed, and players resolve it from top to bottom.
Any time an Event says the public intends to buy a Share at a specific price and there are two Shares at the same price, the public will buy a Share of the Project that is higher on Social Hype. If two players have a Share of the same Project at the same price, the public will always buy a Share from the player who is higher on Brand Equity.
Whenever a Share is bought from the public, it is immediately put for sale in the bottom row (Public row) for the highest price of 8 million. If there is already a Share there, then that Share slides to the next position of 7 million and the new Share takes the 8 million position. Slide as many Shares as needed so all the new Shares can be placed in the Public row of the Market.
After resolving an Event card, if there are empty slots in the last row of the Market, return Shares outside of the game, to the Market starting with the ones highest on the Social Hype track until the last row of the Market is full. Always return the Shares in the leftmost space sliding Shares to the right if needed.
After an Event has been resolved, it stays on the top of the deck and the Special Ability remains active until replaced.
An example of an Event card is printed as follows: 1. Title of the card. 2. Special Ability. 3. Special buy. 4. Public buy.
Example: There are no Shares available for 4 million. Both the Startupper and the Angel Investor player have a Boardtube Share to sell at 5 million, the lowest price that the Boardtube is available (1). Since the Angel Investor is higher in Brand Equity, the game will buy their Share (2). Also, the Market Leader and the BPO both have a Share to sell at 6 million (3) but the Meeplebook is higher on Social Hype so the game will buy the Meeplebook Share (4), making the Market Leader 6 million wealthier.
Final Scoring
Resolving Final Scoring
When the last round of the game resolves, the endgame is triggered and final scores are determined. For each Pipeline, follow these steps:
- Reveal the Secret Parameters tokens and adjust the cubes accordingly (see page 15).
- For each color, compare the number of cubes each Project has and assign Market Share cubes following these rules:
- The Project with the most cubes of a color takes 2 Market Share cubes.
- The Project with the least cubes of a color takes 1 Market Share cube.
- When the Projects tie, place 1 Market Share cube on each.
- The total number of Market Share cubes on both Projects should be 10. Assign Market Share cubes to the Project with the most total Project cubes until there are 10 Market Share cubes total in both. If the 2 Projects tie give the additional Market Share cubes to the rightmost Project.
- Reveal the Bull and Bear tokens and modify the Market Size track accordingly. Then add or subtract Market Share cubes depending on the final position of the Market Size tracker.
- Gain million based on the amount of Resources you have left and your position on Brand Equity (see page 13).
The Market Size track modifies Market Share cubes as follows:
- For every three Market Share cubes the Project has, add one Market Share cube to the Project.
- For every four Market Share cubes the Project has, add one Market Share cube to the Project.
- No change.
- For every four Market Share cubes the Project has, subtract one Market Share cube from the Project.
- For every three Market Share cubes the Project has, subtract one Market Share cube from the Project.
In the above example:
- Meeplebook will take 2 red cubes because it has more Design (blue) cubes than MiniaturePrime, then MiniaturePrime will take only 1.
- The two Projects tie for the Development (green) cubes so they will take 1 red cube each.
- MiniaturePrime has more Marketing (orange) cubes so it will take 2 red cubes and Meeplebook only 1.
- The total so far for Meeplebook is 2+1+1=4, and for MiniaturePrime is 1+1+2=4. Combined, they have 8 red cubes, so 2 extra red cubes need to be placed; these always go to the Project with the most Project cubes. In this case it is Meeplebook with 8 Project cubes. So the scoring becomes Meeplebook 6 red cubes and MiniaturePrime 4 cubes.
- Bull & Bear token: The Market Size tracker indicates that for every 4 red cubes in a Project, remove 1 cube. Thus Meeplebook will end up with 5 cubes and MiniaturePrime with 3 cubes.
Every Meeplebook Share is worth 5 million and every MiniaturePrime Share is worth 3 million.
Winner
For each Share they have, a player gains million equal to the number of Market Share cubes the associated Project has. Then, the player with the highest amount of million wins.
Solo Mode
Market Leader Solo
When playing the Market Leader's solo mode, you are contesting versus the Startupper for economic dominance. Set up the game as follows.
Setup
Starting from the Project that is farthest along its Pipeline, move each Project one step to the right. Move any Project at the end of the Pipeline across to the Project area.
Place the following cards in appropriate slots in the Pipeline:
- Brainstorming (in the right most blue Column), Retrospectives & Growth Hacking
Create a Worker placement deck from the following cards:
- BPO: Outsource Design, Outsource Development, Outsource Marketing
- Angel Investor: VC: Vision, VC: Expertise, VC: Growth.
Place this deck next to the board close to the Worker Placement cards location.
Create your opponent's deck by following the next steps:
- From the Startupper deck remove the cards: Exit Strategy and Funding Cycle.
- From the BPO deck take the cards Iterate, Gamify, First Mover Advantage, Ghost in the Shell and Social Trolls.
- Combine those 5 BPO cards with the Startupper deck and shuffle them.
From the Market Leader deck remove the cards: Job Poaching, Hackers, GDPR. Draw 6 cards, keep 4, and shuffle the rest in your deck.
Setup the rest of the game normally as you would for a 2-player game.
Gameplay Rules
- Whenever you place a Project tile on the Pipeline place a Secret Parameters token for it at random. In this solo mode Secret Parameters token cannot remove the last cube of any color.
- At the start of the round draw a card from your opponent's deck. If the card is a Startupper card resolve it normally. If the card is one of the BPO's cards, then you and your opponent bid for the use of the card. Bidding in Solo Mode:
- Choose a number of Millions to bid.
- Take the Startupper's credit card, set the number of millions to 0.
- Turn it face down and rotate the left dial for 2-3 seconds.
- Turn it face up and look at the number it shows (it should be a number between 0 and 9). This is your opponent's bid. If you bid higher or tied, you win. Otherwise, your opponent wins.
- Whenever your opponent needs to place cubes on a Project, always place each cube to the Project that has the least number of cubes of that color. In case of a tie, place it on the Project that is on the same row as the Market Leader's Project with the least number of cubes. If there is still a tie, you choose the placement.
- At the beginning of each round, draw a card from the Worker placement deck. This card gets discarded at the end of the round regardless of it being used or not during the round.
- Your opponent will always trigger their Workflow cards and never places Meeples.
- When your Worker is placed in the claim the First Player token slot you receive 1 resource of any kind.
- When your Worker is placed in the Info slot, look at one of the Bull and Bear tokens as normal and choose if you want to look at the next Event; if you do so, lose 3 million.
- Winning Solo Mode.
Winning Solo Mode
There are various grades of victory playing the Solo Mode:
- Successful Entrepreneur: At least 1 of your Projects has more Market Share cubes than the Startupper's and finish the game with at least 60 million.
- Financial Titan: At least 2 of your Projects have more Market Share cubes than the Startupper's and finish the game with at least 80 million.
- Market Leader: All 3 of your Projects have more Market Share cubes than the Startupper's and finish the game with at least 100 million.
