Goal of the Game
Get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible. The first player to do so wins the game!
Setup
Shuffle the deck well. Deal 8 cards face down to each player and form a draw pile in the middle of the table with the remaining cards. Turn over the first card and place it beside the draw pile to form the discard pile. Let's go!
The rulebook shows a setup diagram for 4 players, with the discard pile and the draw pile (labelled "Défausse" and "Pioche", i.e. discard and draw) placed between the players' hands.
How to Play
The last person to have been to Denmark begins. If nobody has been to Denmark, the youngest player begins. Play proceeds clockwise, unless someone interrupts the turn by shouting "DING!" (see below).
On your turn, you must play one card from your hand that has either the same number or the same colour as the card on top of the discard pile. Place your card face up on that pile.
Example: It is Anaïs's turn. She must play either a 7 card (any colour) or a blue card (any number).
If you cannot play a card, you pass your turn: draw a card from the draw pile and keep it in your hand. Your turn ends immediately and it is the next person's turn to play.
If the draw pile is empty, shuffle the discard pile to create a new draw pile, taking care to leave the first two cards in place. Continue playing clockwise, starting with the person who follows the player who said "DING!".
Shouting "DING!"
If a condition printed on one of your cards is met, you may immediately shout "DING!" and play this card face up on the discard pile. Briefly explain why the condition was met.
This action is possible at any moment, whether or not it is your turn. Each condition is shown on the card as a text in a speech bubble, for example "La dernière carte jouée est SUPÉRIEURE DE 1 à la précédente" ("The last card played is HIGHER BY 1 than the previous one").
Example: Mathieu has this card in hand. It is not his turn, but he notices that Anaïs is coughing. He shouts "DING!", places his card on the discard pile and says, "Anaïs a toussé !" ("Anaïs coughed!").
If the condition is not correctly met (the decision rests with the group of players), you must take your card back into your hand and draw one extra card.
Precisions
- As soon as someone shouts "DING!", the game briefly stops until the card has been placed and the situation explained. While this happens, nobody is allowed to play another "DING!" card.
- Once the "DING!" card has been resolved and the turn continues, you may immediately play a new "DING!" card.
- If the condition on one of your cards is met at one moment, but is no longer the case afterwards (for example, because someone played a "DING!" card before you), it is then too late to play it. It will be for another time.
End of the Game
The first person to get rid of all their cards wins the game.

Categories of "DING!" Cards
As a general rule, if the card says "quelqu'un" ("someone"), it means all players except yourself. The card only refers to yourself when "tu" ("you") is expressly stated.
There are three types of "DING!" cards.
Cards linked to the discard pile or to certain played cards
- Card showing "La dernière carte jouée est SUPÉRIEURE DE 1 à la précédente" ("The last card played is HIGHER BY 1 than the previous one"), with a "+1" icon.
- Card showing "Les 2 DERNIÈRES CARTES jouées sont des 2" ("The last 2 cards played are 2s").
- Card showing "Les 2 DERNIÈRES CARTES jouées sont ROSES" ("The last 2 cards played are PINK").
Cards linked to the cards in hand (yours and the other players')
- Card showing "Quelqu'un n'a PLUS QUE 1 CARTE EN MAIN" ("Someone has ONLY 1 CARD left in hand").
- Card showing "TU n'as QUE CETTE CARTE EN MAIN" ("YOU have ONLY THIS CARD in hand").
- Card showing "Quelqu'un a PLUS DE CARTES QU'AU DÉBUT DU JEU" ("Someone has MORE CARDS than at the start of the game").
Cards linked to social interactions, for example if one of the players did something
- Card showing "Quelqu'un UTILISE UN TÉLÉPHONE" ("Someone USES A PHONE").
- Card showing "Quelqu'un SE TROMPE DANS LES RÈGLES" ("Someone MAKES A MISTAKE about the rules").
- Card showing "Quelqu'un TOURNE LE DOS À LA TABLE" ("Someone TURNS THEIR BACK to the table").
- Card showing "Quelqu'un TOUCHE LA BOÎTE DU JEU" ("Someone TOUCHES THE GAME BOX").
Example 1: Anaïs has this card in hand. On the discard pile is a yellow 6, and it is Jeanne's turn. Jeanne plays a yellow 7. Anaïs shouts "DING!", interrupts the game and places her card on the discard pile. She explains that the card played by Jeanne in the discard pile is higher by 1 than the previous card. The turn continues, starting with the person to the left of Anaïs.
Example 2: Mathieu has this card in hand. During the game, Mathieu asks Anaïs to pass him the game box so that he can check something on it. Anaïs picks up the box to hand it to him, and he shouts "DING!". He interrupts the game and places his card in the discard pile, explaining that Anaïs touched the game box. The turn continues, starting with the person to the left of Mathieu.
Of course, don't hesitate to provoke these actions!
