Use of the Hero Boards

Jarid and Jarim replace the female warrior Mairen and the warrior Thorn. They are played with the blue components of those two heroes: a plastic figure holder, 3 dice, 2 wooden disks and 1 wooden cube.

Layout of the Hero Boards

Both hero boards have the same layout. Only the name, the pronoun in the special ability and the illustration differ.

  • Storage area: the area at the top left, labelled "Storage for any amount of gold and precious stones." There is no limit on the number of gold and precious stones that can be stored there.
  • Strength points track: the track numbered 1 to 14, marked with the strength points symbol and the label "Strength points" ("Stärkepunkte").
  • Willpower points track: the track numbered 0 to 20, labelled "Willpower points" ("Willenspunkte"). The dice icons to the left of the track show how many dice the hero rolls for his or her current willpower points: 2 dice beside the values 0 to 6, 3 dice beside the values 7 to 13, and 3 dice beside the values 14 to 20.
  • Special ability: printed at the top right of the board, under the hero's name and rank.

Special ability: Jarim may use a fresh well to move himself to another fresh well. He may distribute the 6 willpower points of both wells among the group. Afterwards the wells are turned to the grey side. He must leave behind gold, precious stones, items, wood, farmers or other figures.

Special ability: Jarid may use a fresh well to move herself to another fresh well. She may distribute the 6 willpower points of both wells among the group. Afterwards the wells are turned to the grey side. She must leave behind gold, precious stones, items, wood, farmers or other figures.
