Hero Board
The Grent hero board has a front side with the hero's rules text and a back side with flavour text and component notes. This file transcribes the rules text on the front and the component note on the back. The printed rank label ("Rang 33") is a board label rather than a rule and is not transcribed.
Special Ability
Sonderfähigkeit: In combat, the following die results mean:
- Die face (purple icon): despite a lost combat round, no damage (Trotz verlorener Kampfrunde kein Schaden).
- Die face (purple icon): reroll the die (Erneut würfeln).
- Die face (purple icon): counts as 6 (Zählt als 6).
- Die face (purple icon): reset the time stone by 1 hour (Zeitstein 1 Stunde zurücksetzen).
Additionally, from 14 willpower points onward, Grent has the telescope ability (Außerdem hat Grent ab 14 Willenspunkten die Fähigkeit eines Fernrohrs).
Strength Points
The board has a strength point track (Stärkepunkte) marked with a fist icon and numbered 1 to 14. Position 1 is the first space of the track.
Willpower Points
The board has a willpower point track (Willenspunkte) numbered 0 to 20, starting at 0 (marked with a lotus icon). The track is printed in three rows:
- Row 1, 0 to 6: a die icon stands at the start of the row.
- Row 2, 7 to 13: a die icon stands at the start of the row, and the space 7 is underlined.
- Row 3, 14 to 20: a die icon and a telescope icon stand at the start of the row.
An arrow on the track runs from 0 towards 3. The board does not print what the arrow means.
Storage
Ablage für beliebig viel Gold und Edelsteine: storage for any amount of gold and gems.
Components
Grent und Grea ersetzen den Zauberer Liphardus und die Zauberin Eara. Gespielt werden sie mit den violetten Materialien dieser beiden Helden (Kunststoffhalter, 1 Würfel, 2 Holzscheiben, 1 Holzstein).
Grent and Grea replace the wizard Liphardus and the sorceress Eara. They are played with the violet components of these two heroes (1 plastic holder, 1 die, 2 wooden disks, 1 wooden block).
Gaps and Judgment Calls
This transcription covers only the printed hero board. The following are not in the source and are not filled in here:
- Rules of the telescope ability (Fernrohr): the board names the ability and the willpower threshold of 14, but does not describe what it does.
- Meaning of the track icons: the die icons on the willpower track (at 0, 7 and 14) and the telescope icon at 14 are printed without explanation. Their effect is not transcribed.
- Arrow from 0 to 3 on the willpower track: the board prints the arrow without a label.
- Die face values: the die faces are printed as icons. The photo is too low-resolution to confirm the pip count of each face, so the faces are described by their effect only.
- Unlabelled frames: the board shows three empty frames beside the hero figure with no printed label.
- Grea's own board is not in this PDF.
- Translation choices: Holzstein is rendered as "wooden block"; the component list uses the board's own wording otherwise. The printed subtitle "Bergkrieger vom Greifenfels" is noted in the source note above.
