Christmas in Old London is a Special Game to celebrate Christmas. It can be played by 2 to 6 players and follows the regular D.E.I. rules, plus the Special Rules listed below.
Setup
Follow the Setup rules described in the D.E.I. Rulebook implementing the following changes to the indicated Steps:
Step 11: Select 7 Mission Cards at random and add the "Happy Holidays!" Mission Card to form a deck of 8 Mission Cards. Shuffle this deck, then place the 8 Mission Cards on the Mission Board as you would in a regular game.
Step 18: After determining Priority for the First Turn, the last player in priority order sets the Santa Claus Jukas Token in one of the Regions with a Neutral Refuge of their choice.
Place the 10 Christmas Gift Tokens so that all players can reach them, thus forming a Reserve. (A/N. Instead of these Tokens you can use candy, beans or any other item that evokes a Christmas mood, as long as there are precisely 10 of them).
Special Rules
Santa's Little Scrappers
Any Scrapper that is in the same Region as the Jukas Santa Claus Token can use an Action to take a Christmas Gift Token from the Reserve. Place the Token under the Scrapper's model (or however you can identify it).
When a Scrapper with a Christmas Gift Token enters a Region with an Outpost that does not have a Christmas Gift Token on it, the controlling player removes the token from the Scrapper and places it on the Outpost Token in the Region, gaining 1 Supply instantly. If a Region has multiple Outpost tokens, the player can pick which one to place it on.
There is (not) plenty for everyone!
Each Outpost can only have one Christmas Gift Token.
There are only 10 Christmas Gift Tokens, if there are no more Tokens in the Reserve, you can no longer obtain them.
OH OH OH!
Starting from the second Turn, the last player in order of Priority, may spend 2 Actions in a single Action Phase, to place the Santa Claus Jukas Token in a Region with a Neutral Refuge or of their own Faction.
Guaranteed Delivery
If the Scrapper with the Christmas Gift Token is removed from play (for any reason), place the Christmas Gift Token in the Region where the removed Scrapper was. Any Player can collect a Gift Token in a Region in the same way they would collect a Resource, and can assign it to one of their Scrappers.
Mission Card
"Happy Holidays!"
Gain 3 Supplies for each Outpost with a Gift Token under your control, or, if the Mission is resolved on a later Turn, gain 2 Supplies for each Outpost with a Gift Token under your control.
