Aim

Beat your friends to the finish by betting on the most deadly causes of death.

Set Up

• Shuffle the 250 death cards and lay them green side up to form a draw pile.
• Shuffle the treasure chest cards and place them face down (treasure chest showing) in position on the board.
• Give each player a character, if there are more than 4 players, double up into teams.
• Give each player a set of 3 colored coconut chips that match their character.
• Place your characters on the first space on the island - Coconut Beach.
• Place the tent token at Ol' Steve's Safe Shack.

The oldest player goes first... As they've got the least amount of time left on Earth, it's only fair. They start with the turn token, meaning they kick off the round by doing the following:

Playing

1. Take the top 3 cards from the draw pile, place them face up on the board and read them out loud.
2. Take turns - starting with the player with the turn token - to bet up to 3 chips on which cause you think resulted in the highest number of deaths. Multiple players can bet on the same cause of death but you can't split your bet.
3. Flip the cards to reveal the numbers:
   • If you're right: move forward the same number of spaces as chips you bet with - e.g. bet 2 chips, move forward 2 spaces.
   • If you're wrong: move back the same number of spaces as chips you bet with (you can't move any farther back than Coconut Beach, so bet big at the start!).
4. Move the turn token one player to the left for the start of the next round.
5. Used death cards go on a discard pile. Used treasure chest cards go to the bottom of the treasure chest pile.
6. Keep playing until the first player reaches Eternal Paradise!

Board Features

Treasure Chest

Pick up the top treasure chest card only if you land on a space moving forward after betting. Follow the instructions and use once.

Shortcut

Take a boat across Roy's Lethal Lake and skip 3 spaces only if you land here having moved forward after betting.

Lava Flow

Flow down the lava and go back 4 spaces if you land here having moved forward or backward.

Ol' Steve's Safe Shack

Reach this checkpoint and you can't go back past it, either from betting or from a treasure chest action.

Be the first to reach Ol' Steve's Safe Shack and Steve will hand you a tent in the form of a token. Lay it on 1 of 3 possible spaces in the final third of the board to create a second permanent checkpoint. Once placed, this cannot be moved.

Side Quest

Every year falling coconuts cause 150 deaths worldwide. That's why we've hidden 150 of these tasty tree nuts all around the board. Can you find them all?
