Unique Starter Cards
Each oversized Super Hero from the original DC Deck-Building Game base game now has a unique Starter card! When forming your initial Starter deck, replace 1 Punch card with the unique Starter card that has your Super Hero's name to the right of the card type.
When mixing sets, if you choose a Character without a unique Starter card, take 2 random unchosen unique Starter cards and choose one of those to replace a Punch card in your Starter deck.
New Super-Villain
Giganta can be added to the available Super-Villains when forming the Super-Villain stack at the start of the game.
Super-Villain Stack Escalation Variant
This variant ensures that the Super-Villains you fight get harder to beat as you play rather than them being in a completely random order.
- Set Ra's al Ghul aside and sort the other Super-Villains into two piles: one with costs 8, 9, and 10, and another with costs 11 and greater.
- Shuffle the Super-Villains with costs 11 and greater together and place three of them face down to start the Super-Villain stack.
- Shuffle the Super-Villains with cost 8, 9, and 10 together and place four of them face down on top of the Super-Villain stack.
- Place Ra's al Ghul face up on top of the Super-Villain stack.
- Return the rest of the Super-Villain cards to the box without looking at them.
