Ernie "The Geek" Promo
Civic character card, with Strengths 2 / 1 and Movement 4 (the number in the arrow icon).
Abilities:
- Lucky Dice: As an Action, Ernie allows you to reroll any roll made for any reason during your Action Phase; that reroll's result is final.
- The Hotness: At any time, Ernie can permanently remove one Chaos marker from the stock (meaning there will be one less available before your defeat) to immediately attract (i.e., you receive) a random Hero or Heroic Civilians unit (mix them together and draw one).
- Geeklist: Knowing everyone's friends and relations, Ernie can, as an Action, seek replacements for depleted Civilians units. [Die icon]: If the result is greater than the number of Hits that Civilians unit has suffered, it recovers 1 Hit.
- BGG.con: Each 4R Phase, one activated Refugees unit may move one additional space.
- Storage Solutions: While Ernie is in play, ignore all events that cause the loss of Supplies or Ammo due to waste, spoilage, corruption, etc.
Notes on the Card
- The card's abilities are the only rules text printed on it. This document reproduces that text and does not add rules beyond it.
- The terms "Action", "Action Phase", "4R Phase", "Chaos marker", "Hero", "Heroic Civilians", "Civilians", "Refugees", "Hits", "Supplies" and "Ammo" are defined in the Dawn of the Zeds (Third Edition) base rules, and this transcription does not restate those definitions. Their meaning applies as written in that rulebook.
- The die-face symbol that opens the second sentence of the Geeklist ability is a dice icon printed on the card. It is shown here as "[Die icon]" and is not a separate rule; the sentence reads as printed.
- The Civic type line and the Strengths and Movement numbers are read here by their position and icons on the card. The printed text does not name them beyond that.
- The flavour text on the back of the card is not a rule and is not transcribed.
- The chit shown on the back of the card is artwork and carries no rules text.
- The copyright line on the card is not transcribed.
