Pull Croc's teeth, and be the only player not to get "chomped"!
Contents
- Crocodile unit
- 15 teeth
- Tooth tongs
- Label sheet
The First Time You Play
Peel the labels off the sheet. Then carefully apply them to Croc and the tooth tongs. See Figure 1.
Figure 1 labels:
- Eye labels and nose labels (shown on Croc's head in the figure).
- Upper jaw labels: There are 3 of these. Apply the middle label first, matching the label notch with the notch in the jaw. Then apply the 2 side labels.
- Tooth tongs label: Apply to the side of the tooth tongs with the recessed circle.
Getting Croc Ready
- First, lift up Croc's jaw all the way. Then fit 13 teeth into the holes in his lower jaw. Face the open side of each tooth toward the inside of Croc's mouth. Then press down firmly until the tooth snaps into place. See Figure 2.
Figure 2: Press down until the tooth snaps in.
Place the 2 extra teeth out of play. Save them in case you need them for replacements.
- Press down the yellow button inside Croc's mouth, as shown in Figure 3. Hold the button down for 1 or 2 seconds before releasing it.
Figure 3: Press the yellow button, and hold it down for a second or two before releasing it.
IMPORTANT! Always press the button after putting Croc's teeth in. If the button is not pressed, Croc won't chomp!
- Place Croc on a smooth, flat surface. He likes a bare floor best! Wherever you place Croc, give him plenty of room (about 3 feet) to move!
How to Play
The youngest player starts the game. Play then continues clockwise.
Pull a Tooth!
On your turn, pick a tooth. ANY tooth! Then wiggle it out with the tooth tongs as shown in Figures 4A and 4B. Keep your hand (or hands) on the tongs. Don't touch Croc as you pull the tooth.
Figure 4A: Using the tongs, label-side-up, grasp the bottom of the tooth.
Figure 4B: Squeeze the notches on both sides, then gently wiggle the tooth up, and out!
- If Croc "sits still" after you pull the tooth, you're safe! Place the tooth in front of you and pass the tooth tongs to the player on your left. This ends your turn. Now it's the next player's turn to pull a tooth!
- If Croc growls, rolls forward and snaps his jaws, you got chomped! See Getting Chomped, below.
Getting Chomped!
If you get chomped, you're out of the game! If more than one player remains, the game continues. Stick around and watch the fun!
The remaining players follow all the steps under Getting Croc Ready. Replace all teeth that were pulled, so that Croc has 13 teeth again. Don't forget to press the yellow button after replacing the teeth!
Play continues as described above, beginning with the player to the left of the last chomped player.
How to Win
Keep playing until only one player is left. That player wins the game!
