Overview

All the standard rules of CONCORDIA apply unless specified below.

CORSICA

Game Setup

a) The city tokens with a "C" are returned to the box. The remaining 20 city tokens are assigned as usual. b) The small map at the bottom right of the game board shows the bonus marker section. c) Each player starts with a land colonist and a sea colonist in ALERIA.

Personality Cards TRIBUNE + COLONIST

New Colonists may be placed in ALERIA.

Personality Card PREFECT

The player who collects the cash bonus gets 2 additional sestertii. Example: All 8 provinces have already produced. The player collects 13 + 2 = 15 sestertii and flips all bonus markers back again.

GALLIA

Game Setup

a) The city tokens with a "D" are returned to the box. The remaining 25 city tokens are assigned as usual. b) The small map to the top right of the game board shows the bonus marker section. c) Each player starts with a land colonist in LUTETIA and places a sea colonist near the writing GALLIA in the Mediterranean Sea.

Personality Cards TRIBUNE + COLONIST

New Colonists may be placed in LUTETIA.

Personality Card ARCHITECT

The following special rules apply for the movement of colonists:

a) The river SEINE between JULIOBONA and LUTETIA counts as a normal blue sea line. b) The dashed brown land line between BONONIA and LONDINIUM may be used by land colonists to cross the English Channel. It counts for 1 movement step as usual, but any colonist using that line must immediately move past it using remaining movement steps. The dashed line itself is never occupied by a colonist. c) The sea colonist in the Mediterranean Sea may not be moved until the player builds in one of the 6 harbor cities marked with an anchor symbol. The sea colonist is then immediately placed on that city. Example: The player's first move is the ARCHITECT. They may only move the land colonist up to 2 movement steps. Until the player builds in a harbor city, the sea colonist remains in the Mediterranean Sea.

Map captions: "The dashed brown land line", "2 harbor cities with an anchor symbol", "The SEINE counts as a blue sea line".

Example (map): Red plays the ARCHITECT. 1 land colonist stays in LUTETIA and 1 sea colonist is in the Mediterranean Sea. Hence red has 2 movement steps available. The arrows show how red uses the 2 movement steps: After the movement red builds a house in JULIOBONA. As this is a harbor city with an anchor symbol, red places the sea colonist from the Mediterranean Sea on JULIOBONA.

GALLIA and CORSICA with CONCORDIA SALSA

The two scenarios GALLIA and CORSICA may be combined with CONCORDIA SALSA.

Therefore one city token from each letter group gets replaced with the respective salt city token. The printed key shows one icon for each letter group A, B, C and D, each with its city token crossed out.

GALLIA City Names

Key printed on the back cover of the GALLIA board, giving each Latin city name with its modern name.
