Scenario 121: How Close Is Too Close
St. Genevieve, France, 13 September 1944 — The initial attack to cross the Moselle River at Pont-a-Mousson on the 5-6 of September had shown that the Germans were well organized for defense in that sector. After renewed planning and intelligence gathering the 80th Division prepared to try and establish a bridgehead south of Pont-a-Mousson near the town of Dieulouard. On the night of 11 September the 317th Infantry Regiment crossed the Moselle against light resistance and captured its first objectives, Hill 382 and the village of St Genevieve. After consolidating their position the 317th prepared for the inevitable German counter assault. The early morning hours of September 13 saw one such assault by elements of the 17th SS Panzer Grenadier Division who very nearly swept the 317th Infantry from Hill 382.

- MIST: There exists an early morning mist that creates a 1 hindrance in all hexes. This rule is no longer in effect once the Time marker enters space 4 of the Time Track.
Scenario 122: Barbarossa Sustained
Plyussa River, Narva Vicinity, Estonia, 14 August 1941 — The days of headlong pursuit with little or no resistance by the Russian Armies had to come to an end at some point. For the soldiers of the German 58th Infantry Division that reality occurred just south of the Estonian capital of Narva at the confluence of the Plyussa and Pyata Rivers. The 58th Division's 154th Infantry Regiment was tasked with forcing a crossing over the Plyussa River. The Russians of the 48th Rifle Division had established a defensive position on the opposite bank of the river where they awaited the German assault. The fighting was determined and fierce but eventually went to the German's who continued their drive towards Leningrad.

Special Rules
- HIDDEN BUNKER: The Bunker must be placed in a hex lettered B, C, or D. The Bunker and any unit(s) setting up in the same hex may be placed after the Axis player completes his set up.
- RIVER ASSAULT: The bridge does not exist. Water Barrier hexes (T98) are modified as follows: A unit and its weapon may enter a Water Barrier if it begins a Move order adjacent to the hex. The move cost to do this is "All." While occupying a Water Barrier hex a unit has -1 cover and can't participate in a Fire Attack.
- BUNKER BUSTER: When attacking the Bunker, the Axis Hero may use any action as if it were a Hand Grenades action.
- BLOWN BRIDGE: Objective chits H, J, L, M, N, P, Q and R are not used in this scenario. Do not add them to the draw cup.
