Object of the Game

To obtain the highest number of points by connecting balls of the same colour.

Game Set Up

Place the game board in the centre of the table and randomly spread all the balls across the board. Once done, rearrange the balls so that the centre slot remains empty and that no balls of the same colour are adjacent to each other vertically or horizontally (diagonally is OK).

How to Play

Players decide who starts; the game continues clockwise.

On their turn, each player selects a line of balls (horizontal or vertical) and pushes it in a single direction all the way to the edge of the game board, regrouping all the balls from the line in the process.

The result of a push must be that at least two balls of the same colour must end up adjacent to each other (horizontally or vertically). The player then collects all balls of the same colour that are adjacent to each other and places them in their tray. In a 2-player game, each player is assigned 2 trays.

If, after pushing a line of balls, a player creates 2 pairs of balls on both a horizontal and a vertical line (3 balls in an L shape), they pick up all adjacent balls.

If a player cannot identify a move that will result in creating at least one pair of balls of the same colour becoming adjacent to each other, the next player (and continuing clockwise) may suggest a valid move if one exists. If they do, they get to collect the balls that were paired. If no one can identify a valid move, the player whose turn it is may make two consecutive moves, with the aim of connecting at least one pair of balls of the same colour.

Game End

If no pair of balls of the same colour can be created within two moves, the game ends.

Determining the Winner

Players count the points based on the balls collected in their trays. For every 3 balls of the same colour collected, a player gets 1 point. The player with most points is the winner. In case of a tie, the player with most balls between the tying players wins.
