Object of the Game
To be the first player to get your 3 player tokens to the center circle of the board (Goal Area).
Set-up
Place the large gateway piece in the outer track on the segment marked Entry 1.
Place the medium gateway piece in the middle track on the segment marked Entry 2.
Place the small gateway piece in the inner track on the segment marked Entry 3.
Each player takes 1 circle, 1 triangle and 1 square Token of the same color.
These will be the players' movement tokens for the game with the circle having a movement value of 2, the triangle a movement value of 3 and the square a movement value of 4. All movement values must be used according to the Token Shape you choose during your turn.
NOTE: Placing a token in the segment space labeled "Player Entrance" counts as 1 movement point. The Player Entrance segment is the place where all Player Tokens enter the game board.
Choose a starting player and give that player the Player Tracker Chip, indicating that this person will be the starting player. Players will always play in a clockwise direction. When all players have taken their turn, the Player Tracker Chip is passed to the next person in a clockwise direction, making them the new starting player for the next round. The Player Tracker Chip will continue to move in this manner until game end.
Game Play
During your turn, you are only allowed to move 1 token of your choice, either clockwise or counter clockwise along the segment spaces on the track where your token is located. No segment space may contain more than 1 player token, so during the course of your move, you are allowed to jump over any piece(s) along the track you are moving on to complete your move. Jumping a piece(s) does not count towards your movement points. Jumping over 1 or more consecutive pieces is allowed. During your turn, you may choose to move an existing piece already on the board or enter a new piece on to the board, assuming the Player Entrance segment doesn't contain a token on it that blocks you.
Gateway Movement
After all players have taken their turn, the gateway pieces are moved always clockwise as follows:
Count all tokens that may be located on the outer track and move the large gateway piece that amount of spaces. Do the same for the Middle and Inner tracks and move the gateway pieces accordingly. NOTE: If a particular track doesn't contain any player tokens, then its gateway piece doesn't move, but stays in place. After gateway movement has been done, the game proceeds once again according to the rules under Game Play until the winning conditions have been met.
Winning the Game
To win the game one must get all 3 player tokens to the Goal Area at the center of the board.
In order to move toward the center of the board a token must move through a gateway piece to reach the next track. Note: If there's a token on either side of the gateway piece in the direction you are trying to move, you are blocked and must continue movement on the track you're on. If you move through a gateway piece with your first move, you may choose whether to move clockwise or counter clockwise to complete your move. If it's not your first move, you must continue in the direction (Clockwise or Counter Clockwise) that you chose to move during your turn. Once you pick a movement direction, you must continue in that direction for your entire turn. Note that you can only go through a gateway piece only once with the same token. However part of your strategy might be to move through a gate towards an outer track instead. When entering the Goal Area with a token, you don't need to do so by an exact movement count. The first person to get all 3 of their tokens to the Goal Area at the center of the board, all at the same time, wins the game.
Advanced Play
For an even greater challenge, each player token that reaches the Goal Area at the center of the board must do so by an exact count.
