Production Tokens

Place these together with the 6 Production Tokens from the base game in the top-left corner of the Map.

  • Spend 2 Energy (or 0 Energy if the token is flipped) to Deploy or Upgrade a Leader.
  • Spend 1 Energy (or 0 Energy if the token is flipped) to use 1 Build Point. If the token is flipped, ignore 1 Gem Lock.

Tactics Cards

Shuffle these into the Tactics Card deck from the base game.

Leaders and Attributes

Give each Faction 2 new Leader Cards and their Standees, as well as the new Attribute Cards.

After selecting its starting Leader, each Faction must return 2 of the remaining Leaders to its box. Those returned Leaders cannot be Deployed.

A Faction must use its new Attribute. It can be upgraded in the same way as any other Attribute.

Leader Notes

Demo

Once Deployed, he never leaves the Map.

Zoui

Circadians must be present in a Region that is not adjacent. If Redeployment takes Zoui into a Region with another Circadian Leader, Zoui must immediately return to Base.

Ivi

Like Oxataya, she ignores the limit on the number of Leaders in her Region after a move. When she uses the ability of Veilak, she may move together with him.

Translator's note: the insert names the Veilak ability in transliteration only; the English name of that ability is not printed in the insert.

Kadjali

His ability works even if the Jrayek are not involved in the desired Battle.

Latanya

She follows the usual Redeployment rules. She must move to an adjacent Region that contains Oxataya.

Rilak

He does not need control of a Region to raise combat spirit. The limit still applies: 1 combat spirit token in each Region.

Translator's note: "combat spirit" is a translation of the Russian "боевой дух"; the insert does not give an English term.

Urzo

The Scaro receive a Tactics Card into their hand at the end of a Battle.

Translator's note: the insert uses "Scaro" as printed; it is not resolved in this file which Faction or units are meant.

Foros

She ignores all the usual requirements for using the sector of the Combat Wheel that shows two Combat Icons.

Translator's note: the insert shows this sector as a pair of Combat Icons (crosshair symbols), not as text.

Card Text From Card Scans

The following card text is copied from the English BGG card scans for this expansion. It covers only the cards shown in those scans. The Tactics Cards in the scans are not named, so they are listed by position.

Leaders

Ivi

May move and attack with an allied Leader.

Kajali

Opponents cannot select any Battles in this Region.

Urzo

Gain opponent's used Tactics Card unless you chose to Retreat.

Attributes

Fortified

Opposing Outposts and Strongholds each Pin 2 of your Units.

Ominous

Gain 1 Energy and 1 Combat Icon when Factions Retreat from you in Battle.

Volatile

If more than 1 of your Leaders is defeated in Battle, return 1 to Base.

Tactics Cards

Tactics Card 1 (Combat Values 4 and 0 as printed)

  • Combat Phase ability: Return 1 of your Leaders to Base if they are defeated.
  • Other ability (behind a Gem Lock): Research Points may be spent to Deploy or Upgrade Leaders.

Tactics Card 2 (Combat Values 6 and -2 as printed)

  • Combat Phase ability: Your opponent gains 1 Combat Icon + 1 Shield.
  • Other ability: Gain 1 Research when collecting a Relic.

Tactics Card 3 (Combat Values 1 and 3 as printed)

  • Combat Phase ability: Gain 1 Research if you Wound 2 or more Fighters.
  • Other ability: You may spend 3 Recruitment Points to gain 1 Research.

The scans show the Combat Values at the top of each card, but the scans and insert do not say whether these numbers are Attack, Strength or Shields, so they are not interpreted here. The Combat Icon and Shield symbols are shown as printed on the card.

Translator's note: the Urzo card text above and the Urzo note in the Leader Notes section come from different printed sources and are transcribed as printed. This file does not reconcile them.
