Object of the Game

TO WIN: Line up five of your tiles in a row.

A winning row of five may run straight (in a line) or diagonally. Tiles set corner to corner do not count as a row.

1. Choose a Coloured Stack

Each player chooses a coloured stack of tiles.

2. The First Player Starts

The first player starts by putting down a tile.

3. Tiles Must Connect Flat Edge

Tiles must always connect flat edge — never just corner to corner.

4. Take Turns Placing Tiles

Take turns placing tiles.

5. Time Passes

Time passes... The tiles of all players build up into a single connected shape on the table.

6. Run Out of Tiles and There Is No Winner?

If the players run out of tiles and nobody has made a line of five, play continues by repositioning tiles.

7. Repositioning

Take turns repositioning your tile until someone makes a line of five...

8. No Stranded Tiles

...but make sure no tiles are left "stranded" — they must all be connected by a flat edge.
