Lordwrath Skill Cards

The Lordwrath hero's skills are printed on two Paths. Each card lists its skill at Level 1 or Level 2. Card text is reproduced as printed, in English.

Twilight Path (Zwielicht)

Level 1: Shatter

Spend 1 FOCUS as a Minor Action: Make 1 Weapon Attack with +0 HIT, +1 DMG.

Level 2: Shadow Cloak

Spend 1 FOCUS as a Reaction: SELF, PREVENT 3.

Level 2: Soul Absorption

Spend 1 FOCUS as a Minor Action: SELF, HEAL 2 and CLEANSE 1.

Freedom Path (Freiheit)

Level 1: Resistance

You take no damage from Darkness.

Level 2: Shadow Shroud

When you end your turn on Darkness: SELF, SHIELD 2.

Level 2: Faint Glimmer of Light

Remove 1 of your own Curse Cubes: SELF, HEAL 2.

Card-face notes: the printed abbreviation "FW" (Fluchwürfel) is Curse Cube. Crossed swords mark a Weapon Attack. The Reaction marker is a bolt icon. The Level 1 Shatter card and the Level 1 Resistance card are the only Level 1 skills on the Lordwrath cards.

Monster Pack #1

Monster Pack #1 contains three Monster types, nine cards in all: the Demon Lord (an Overlord, one card), the Death Messenger (four ranks) and the Dark Scout (four ranks). Each rank is printed on its card as Rookie (Standard), Fighter (Standard), Veteran (Standard) or Champion (Standard), matching the German Novize, Kämpfer, Veteran and Meister. The Overlord Attack cards for the Demon Lord are listed with its card.

Card Icon Key

  • Top-left symbol (hexagon): the Monster type. Purple is the Overlord type, grey is the Gray type and white is the White type (base rulebook, Monster Cards).
  • Red starburst with wings: Health.
  • Boot icon, bottom left: Movement.
  • Crossed swords, bottom right: Base Damage.
  • Arrow beside the diamond: where the card sits on the Initiative Track, top or bottom section (base rulebook).
  • Coloured icons on the left side of the art: Immunities. The German card face shows them as icons only and does not name them, so they are not transcribed here. The Italian backs show the same icons with the label IMMUNITÀ and no text.

Demon Lord (Overlord)

The Scourge of the Underworld (German: Dämonenfürst, Die Geissel der Unterwelt; Italian: Signore demone, Flagello del mondo sotterraneo).

  • Type: Overlord (purple symbol).
  • Health: 9R, as printed. The "R" is not explained on the card.
  • Movement: 2
  • Base Damage: 5
  • Special Abilities: MAELSTROM; JUMP; STRIKE 1, BURN X and KNOCK DOWN.

Back: the back side has the card art and the name only. It has no rules text.

Overlord Attack Cards

The Demon Lord uses its own Overlord Attack cards, which the Italian file labels "Attacco di Signore supremo" (Overlord Attack). The Overlord Attack deck holds 10 cards. Each is a card with its own name and text. The German file does not include them, so each is translated from the Italian card face. Per the base rulebook, X on an Attack card means the number of Runes on the Initiative Track that match that card's Rune.

1. Fiery Switch (Interruttore infuocato)

SWAP the 2 weakest Heroes. (If playing solo, skip the swap, but still treat the Hero as the target.) Both Heroes suffer BURN X. If there are 5 or more orange Runes on the Initiative Track, both Heroes also suffer KNOCK DOWN.

2. Boil the Blood (Bollire il sangue)

If a Hero is adjacent to the Overlord, this attack deals 2X non-preventable damage (DNN) to the strongest of them. Also, if any Heroes within Range 1 of the Overlord are affected by BLEED, convert all of those BLEED into BURN.

3. Noxious Blood (Sangue nocivo)

If a Hero is adjacent to the Overlord, this attack deals 2X non-preventable damage (DNN) to the strongest one of them. Again, if any Hero within Range 1 of the Overlord is affected by BLEED, convert all of those into POISON.

4. Noxious Switch (Interruttore nocivo)

SWAP the 2 weakest Heroes. (If playing solo, skip this swap, but still treat the Hero as the target.) Both Heroes suffer POISON X. If there are 5 or more green Runes on the Initiative Track, both Heroes also suffer KNOCK DOWN.

5. Freezing (Congelamento)

This attack deals X damage and STUN to the Most Corrupted Hero at any Range.

6. Arcane Theft (Furto arcano)

The Overlord DRAINS all SHIELD tokens from all Heroes within Range 1. The Overlord may keep any number of SHIELD tokens drained this way. Then this attack deals X non-preventable damage (DNN) to the strongest Hero within Range 1 of the Overlord.

7. Double Split (Doppia scissione)

This attack deals 2 damage and makes X "flow away" (far defluire X) toward the 2 most Vigorous Heroes within Range 1 of the Overlord. If there are 5 or more red Runes on the Initiative Track, repeat this attack once more.

8. Trample (Calpestio)

The Overlord jumps to the area of the most Vigorous Hero. Shake off any character that was in that area and crush any mobile object there, but do not apply any effects (such as traps) to the Overlord. Then each character that was pushed this way takes X DMG.

9. Hammer Throw (Lancio del martello)

This attack deals 2X damage to the strongest Hero at any Range. If there are 4 or fewer grey Runes on the Initiative Track, this attack also inflicts STUN as collateral damage.

10. Curse Drain (Drenaggio della maledizione)

The Overlord DRAINS all Curse Cubes from all Heroes within Range 1 of it. For each Curse Cube drained this way, discard that cube and the Overlord HEALS 2. If the Overlord heals 10 or more Health this turn, it is also activated once, immediately.

Translation notes for the Overlord Attack cards: "DNN" is the card's own abbreviation. It is read here as non-preventable damage, which is the base game's damage type, and this reading is not confirmed by a printed key. "Aggiunto all'elemento" (added to the element) is rendered as "adjacent", the usual reading of the same phrase. Card 3 prints the English word POISON inside the Italian text, and it is kept as printed. Card 7's verb "far defluire" is not a base-game keyword, so it is kept in quotes with its literal meaning. The Italian text layer drops a few words, so Cards 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 and 10 were checked against the card art. Cards 4, 5, 6 and 9 come from the printed Italian text.

Death Messenger

Italian: Messaggero della Morte. German: Todesbote.

  • Type: grey.
  • Front (Standard), all ranks: Curse 1 and Shadow Aura, as printed as "FLUCH 1 UND SCHATTENAURA" (CURSE 1 and SHADOW AURA).
Rank (Standard)MovementHealthBase Damage

Fighter3166
Veteran4207
Champion4248

Back (Alternate), all ranks: RECEIVER [Italian: RICETTATORE]; PENITENCE and SLOW.

Note: "Ricettatore" is printed as the keyword on the Italian back. No English keyword for it appears in the base game or in the German file, so it is kept here as the Italian term's literal translation, "receiver" (of stolen goods). The base rulebook's PENITENCE is the keyword for "PENITENZA".

Dark Scout

Italian: Esploratore dell'Oscurità. German: Dunkler Späher.

  • Type: white.
  • Front (Standard), by rank: ATTACK TWICE and DRAIN HEALTH (German: DOPPELANGRIFF, LP ENTZIEHEN). The Rookie and Fighter ranks have DRAIN HEALTH 1; the Veteran and Champion ranks have DRAIN HEALTH 2.
Rank (Standard)MovementHealthBase DamageSpecial Abilities
Rookie492ATTACK TWICE, DRAIN HEALTH 1
Fighter4123ATTACK TWICE, DRAIN HEALTH 1
Veteran5154ATTACK TWICE, DRAIN HEALTH 2
Champion5185ATTACK TWICE, DRAIN HEALTH 2

Back (Alternate), all ranks: BLOODSUCKER [Italian: SANGUISUGA]; INTIMIDATE X and KNOCK DOWN.

Note: "Sanguisuga" is printed as the keyword on the Italian back. No English keyword for it is confirmed, so it is kept as the literal translation "bloodsucker". The Italian and German card faces are the only sources for this term.
