A. 1 star (with three magnets inside) B. 1 crossbar C. 2 poles D. 12 long rays with a metal ring E. 20 long rays without a metal ring F. 20 short rays without a metal ring G. 1 game board

Setup

  1. Take the game components out of the box and place the game board in the plastic insert.
  2. With the slots facing up, set the two wooden poles into the holes of the game board.
  3. Connect the two poles by fixing them with the connecting crossbar.
  4. Hang the star in the centre of the crossbar.
  5. Now divide the rays equally. Each player receives the same number of rays of each type. The remaining rays are not used in the game; set them aside.

Object of the Game

Each of you will now try to return the rays to the little star, not letting them fall and doing so as skilfully as possible.

How to Play

The game is started by the player who last saw a falling star. That player attaches one ray with a metal ring to the star.

Then all players take turns either attaching another ray with a ring to the star, or trying to place a ray without a ring onto the rays already in place.

If as a result of a player's action from one to three rays fall, that player must take them back into their own supply of rays.

If more than three rays fall, the player must take back only those three of them that carry the greatest number of negative points. The remaining fallen rays are removed from the game.

End of the Game

The winner is the player who is first to get rid of all their rays. Now the small proud star can shine again.

For the further ranking of places, the other players count negative points for the rays remaining in their supplies.

Scoring

  • Long rays with a metal ring: minus 1 point each.
  • Long rays without a metal ring: minus 2 points each.
  • Short rays: minus 3 points each.

Personal Record

Of course, you can also try on your own to attach as many rays to the star as possible.
