See the Catacombs game manual for further instructions.

The flyer's sticker chart lists the artwork to apply to each piece, by size:

  • Extra Large Pieces: Soloth/Behemoth, x1 piece.
  • Large Pieces: Ice Dragon/Enchantress, x1 piece; Stone Antient, x1 piece.
  • Medium Pieces: Ice Mage, x1 piece; Raven Empress, x1 piece; Vampire Noble, x1 piece; Vampire Guard, x2 pieces.

Campaign Setup

As this campaign takes place before events in the base Catacombs game, one player will control the Raven Empress while the others will choose from the following heroes when assembling the rest of the party:

  • Resurrection Pack 1: Aprill (Fire Mage), Sequolia (Forest Sprite).
  • Resurrection Pack 2: Maireya (Raven Empress), Raisthrim (Ice Mage), Regulus (Vampire Noble).
  • Catacombs Base Game: Varesh (Wizard), Marorg (Skeleton Explorer).
  • Cavern of Soloth Expansion: Vysara (Sorceress).

For this campaign, the Raven Empress may start the game with her Raven Leaf Sword item. One of the other heroes in the party may start the game with the Semplara's Amulet item. The Overseer deploys Soloth as the Catacomb Lord.

Shaurath Special Room Card

When searching the ruins of the Shaurath crypt, the heroes discover items to aid them in their quest. Shuffle the deck of item cards and draw two. The players controlling the heroes decide which two members of the party will use each item (normal restrictions apply).

Room Card Configuration

Configure the room cards as shown below. This campaign is very challenging and is recommended for experienced players. If you do not have the Altar of Soloth Special Room card (from the Cavern of Soloth expansion set) you may substitute a random Special Room card from the base Catacombs Third Edition game.

The flyer shows the eight room cards below as a chain linked by arrows, running left to right along the top row (Krhlot, Shannotul, Shaurath, Ersothak), down to Qurlathorm at the bottom right, then right to left along the bottom row (Qurlathorm, Altar of Soloth, M'othole, Catacomb Lord's Lair). The number printed in each card's corner and the piece markers (x1, x2, x3) are reproduced as printed.

The flyer marks the Krhlot, Shannotul, Ersothak, Qurlathorm and M'othole cards and the Shaurath card with an "R2" label, identifying them as Resurrection Pack 2 room cards.
