Objective

Be the first player to discard all of your cards, by totaling dice rolls.

Components

60 cards (4 of each card, ranked 1-15) 3 dice (d4, d8 and d12) 1 Rule Sheet

Setup

Shuffle the deck and deal 10 cards to each player. The rest of the deck is not used, and should be set aside. Select a player to go first, using any method you prefer.

Game Play

The first player rolls all 3 dice, and then may discard cards, based on the numbers rolled. A card may only be discarded if the total on one or more dice is exactly equal to the value of that card. All dice used to discard that card are immediately passed to the next player, and can not be used to discard other cards this turn. The remaining dice may be used to discard additional cards, as long as the total on one or more of them exactly matches the value of each discarded card.

Once no more discards are possible, any unused dice are moved to the middle of the table, ending the player's turn.

Continuing Play

Play continues to the left. All dice that the previous player used are rolled, and all previously unused dice are taken from the middle of the table, keeping their same values. The player may then use the numbers on the dice to discard cards, following the same method as the first player.

If a player discards the last card from their hand, the game is over and they win.

"No Play" Rule

Any time a player is unable to play (so that all 3 dice have been moved to the middle of the table), the next player has the option of using the dice as they are, or re-rolling all 3 of them.

Example Play

The first player rolls 3, 4, 6. The player uses the 3 to discard the 3 card, and adds the 4 and 6 to discard a 10 card, then pushes all 3 dice to the next player.

The second player rolls 4, 8, 12. The player uses the 12 to discard a 12 card, pushing the 12 to the next player, then moves the 4 and 8 to the middle of the table, locking their values so the next player can not roll them.

The third player may only roll the 12, and re-rolls it getting a 10, which with the 4 and 8 from the middle of the table, means they now have 4, 8, 10. Unfortunately, they are unable to play, so they push all 3 dice to the middle of the table.
