Tile Use

The La Porxada tile can be used in one of two ways. The player who places it chooses which of the two uses to apply.

Use 1: Exchanging a Follower

The first use is that the player may exchange one of their own followers already placed on a land tile for any other player's follower.

  • The other player may refuse the exchange. However, if they refuse, they must remove one of their followers from the game for the rest of the game.
  • If a player places the La Porxada tile while they have no meeple in play, they cannot make the exchange.

Use 2: Unfinished Cities at Game End

The second use applies at the end of the game.

  • At the end of the game, the unfinished cities of the player or players who have a knight in the city where La Porxada is placed count as if they were finished, if the city where La Porxada is placed is finished.
