  • 12 new landscape tiles with autumn-themed motives.

Overview

The Autumn is part of the 4 Seasons tile series with individual illustrations. You can use the tiles to expand the field or as a small mini-expansion.

Setup

Mix the 12 autumn tiles with the landscape tiles from the base game.

This mini-expansion was developed for the Carcassonne base game, and its rules still apply. You can combine The Autumn with other expansions. However, there will be no official rules for these combinations.

Playing the Game

1. Place a Land Tile

If you draw an autumn tile, you place it according to the usual rules.

2. Place a Meeple

You can place one of your meeple on the autumn tile according to the usual rules.

3. Score Points

For farms and stables that are vertically, horizontally or diagonally adjacent to the autumn tile you have placed, you now receive points.

You immediately receive 2 points for each farm or stable.

The farm, cowshed, donkey stable and pigsty are shown on the sheet as:

  • Farm
  • Cowshed
  • Donkey stable
  • Pigsty

Example: You place your drawn autumn tile. At the end of your turn you receive 6 points: 2 points each for the donkey stable and the cowshed, and 2 points for the farm.

Statue Tiles

You will find 1 statue tile in each of the 4 Seasons.

The following rule applies to all 4 statue tiles of the 4 Seasons: If your tile is vertically, horizontally or diagonally adjacent to a statue tile of the 4 Seasons after being placed, you may place 2 meeple on this tile in different areas.

Example: You place the tile you have drawn on the autumn statue. Now you place a meeple on the road and another meeple on the city there.

Note: The traffic circle at the statue is interrupted in the Autumn by a pile of leaves. There are therefore 2 roads on this tile.
