Rules of the Game

Each player has 5 pieces.

The red piece, the BOBAIL, is placed in the central hole of the board.

To win, a player must bring the Bobail onto one of their own 5 starting holes, or block the Bobail so as to prevent the other player from moving it.

The Bobail only ever moves one square at a time, in any direction.

The pieces move horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, all the way to the end of the row, or until they meet an obstacle.

Each player moves two pieces on their turn: first the Bobail, then one of their 5 pieces, following the game's movement rule.

Exception: the player who starts the game only moves one of their pieces.
