Setup and General Rules

The following is the general expansion text printed on the reference sheet. The sheet describes the full expansion, which has four new tiles. This rulebook covers only the two tiles in this promo set.

All new buildings are included in the game as additional buildings.

During set-up, the marketplace, palace and the 3 temples are laid out first as normal. The remaining buildings are mixed together with the new ones and randomly placed as usual.

If using part of the expansion, 2 arbitrary corners of the 4 are also occupied. If all four new buildings are used, all corners are occupied, creating a square playing area.

The course of the game is not changed. The new buildings generally function exactly like the familiar buildings. However, some of the buildings possess a special ability which gives the players new action options at the end of their turns if they finish the turn on the building.

The special ability is marked by a symbol below the middle of the building tile. The special ability can always be utilized whether the building is completed or not.

Hospital

A player who finishes a turn on the Hospital draws 2 additional cards.

Printed on the tile: the tile shows two card icons in the central special-ability field, which corresponds to the two additional cards above. The building's cost boxes show white 3 and brown 3.

Meeting Hall

The sheet calls this tile the "Assembly Hall". The BGG product title and the BGG tile description call it the "Meeting Hall". The printed names on the tile are not legible in the available photographs, so the name used here is the one given in the BGG description.

A player who finishes a turn on the Meeting Hall may immediately jump to any other building tile but cannot execute any further actions or use special abilities there.

Printed on the tile: the tile shows a player pawn with an arrow in the central special-ability field, which corresponds to the jump described above. The building's cost boxes show brown 1, grey 1, blue 1, red 1, black 1 and yellow 1.

Translation and Transcription Notes

  • The source is a fan reference sheet, not an official rulebook. The rules text is transcribed as printed on the sheet, and the same effects appear in the BGG description of the tiles.
  • The sheet's general text describes the full four-tile expansion. The corner rule above applies to any part of the expansion, so it applies to this two-tile set as well.
  • The cost boxes and the reward icons on the tile photographs are recorded only as far as they are legible. The reward icons on the tiles are not described in the source and are not transcribed here.
  • The base game Hospital is a separate building in the Blue Moon City base rules. The effect above belongs only to the promo tile.
