Setup

Each player takes a blob of dough, one googly eye, an answer card, and dry erase marker.
- If playing with more than eight players, additional players can use pieces of paper and pencils.
Shuffle the Category deck. Shuffle the Word deck. Set both decks in the middle of the play area.

How to Play

Turn over the top Category card and lay it faceup in the middle of the play area. Any player then draws three cards from the Word deck and chooses one to go with the Category. The chosen card is laid faceup next to the Category and the other two are put in a discard pile.

Players individually and secretly write an answer they think fits that Category and Word on their answer card. There is no word limit for answers and spelling does not matter. The only rule is answers cannot contain any of the words in the Category or Word cards.

When ready, all players show their answers to the group and anyone who matches will form a blob. Multiple blobs can be formed during a game. Whenever a blob is formed, players take their individual blobs of dough and squish them together to form a bigger blob. For added fun, each player should place their googly eyes on the blob as well. The color of the eyes will help identify which players are part of that blob.

We suggest that all members of a blob individually write down a possible answer and then show each other what they wrote. The blobmates can then decide which answer they want to go with as a team.

If two answers are close enough, they are a match; it's up to the group to decide how strict they want to be!

If all players gave the same answer, they win! Otherwise, a new round begins. A new Category card is drawn and a different player draws three new Word cards and chooses one. Any blobs formed in the previous round will work together to come up with one answer for their team. Play continues like this until all players merge into one team (a Mega Blob) or it's been seven rounds, whichever happens first.

Winning

The group wins if they become a Mega Blob by all giving the same answer before the end of seven rounds. To play again, everyone returns to individuals and a new game begins! Groups can see how many games they can win in a row.
