Setup

Include the Ordalia Cards in a Black Rose Wars game as follows, referring to the Black Rose Wars rulebook for details.

• Setup, point 8 (page 16 of the Black Rose Wars rulebook): Shuffle the Ordalia Card Deck and deal two of the cards to each player.
• Setup, point 10 (page 16 of the Black Rose Wars rulebook): Each player selects one of the drawn Ordalia Cards and discards the other to the box unseen.

Point Count

• Point Count, after point 4 (page 35 of the Black Rose Wars rulebook): Each player combines all their available Spell Cards (those currently on their Mage Card, their Grimoire, their Memories and their Hand). Then all Mages reveal their Ordalia Card. Each player verifies whether they have performed one or both of the tasks indicated on their Ordalia Card by checking all their Spell Cards, all their Activation tokens, all their Trophies, and all their completed Quests. In this phase, the magic type symbols count as any symbol of the elements (the seven elemental symbols) present on any of their Spell Cards, and is considered as fulfilling one of the elemental symbols required by the tasks.

Points

• Each task completed by the Mage grants the indicated Power Points to the Mage and also to the Black Rose.
• If the Mage did not complete either task on their Ordalia Card, the Black Rose gains the Power Points indicated in the center of the card. If the Mage has a number of Power Points equal to or greater than that of the Black Rose, their Power Point Counter is moved to the Power Board one point behind that of the Black Rose.

Transcription Notes

• The leaflet's left and right columns continue across the fold. The text is joined here in reading order: the left column's last words ("the magic type symbols count as any") run into the right column's opening ("symbol of the elements ... present on any of their Spell Cards, and is considered as fulfilling one of the elemental symbols required by the tasks.").
• The leaflet shows the elemental and Power Point symbols as small icons. In this transcription they are rendered as words ("the seven elemental symbols", "Power Points to the Mage", "to the Black Rose"). The icon artwork itself was not transcribed.
• Gap: the 24 Ordalia Cards themselves were not transcribed. Each card's tasks and center Power Point value are not in this leaflet, so they are not reproduced here.
