Event Cards

Each card below is an Event card with a crown emblem in its title bar. The timing shown on each card is printed in the centre of its lower band. The card backs show the Moon each card belongs to: the gold sun is the First Moon, the half-face silver moon is the Second Moon, and the crescent is the Third Moon.

Treacherous Plots

Timing: Instant

"The Black Rose gains 1 Power Point for each Completed Quest of each Mage (max 4 Power Points)."

Moon: First Moon (gold sun card back).

Fleeting Occasions

Timing: Action Phase

"Each Mage, in play order, may draw 1 Quest from the First Moon Deck. If they do, the Black Rose gains 1 Power Point."

Moon: Second Moon (half-face silver card back).

Silence is Golden

Timing: Black Rose Phase

"The Black Rose gains 1 Power Point for each Mage who is in their Cell (max 2 Power Points)."

Moon: Third Moon (crescent card back).

Notes on the Card Layout

• Each card's lower band also prints two numbers, each beside a small card-slot icon. On Treacherous Plots these are 0 and 0; on Fleeting Occasions they are 0 and 2; on Silence is Golden they are 0 and 2. The photograph does not state what these numbers mean, and no rule for them is given on the cards, so they are not explained here.
• The small card-slot icons in the lower band are not transcribed as rules text.
• The card text uses the Black Rose icon (a rose) and the Power Point icon (a coin with a rose on it). The photograph does not name these icons; they are rendered here as "the Black Rose" and "Power Point(s)", which are the terms the base rules use.
