Alma Mater Studiorum
The card has two separate text panels, one in the upper half and one in the lower half. Each panel is a separate effect, transcribed here as printed. The photo does not show whether the panels are the two sides of the card or two halves of a single face, so this file does not say which one applies. Each panel is listed as printed; no reading of how they combine is added.
Upper panel (upright in the photo)
Card text (as printed on the card):
- Remove up to 5 cards from your Memories and/or your hand.
- Shuffle together your Memories and Grimoire.
- Draw spells from your new Grimoire up to your max hand limit.
- Gain [icon, 3].
Lower panel (printed upside down in the photo)
Card text (as printed on the card):
- Search through and [card-stack icon, 4] from any school of magic (you cannot choose from the Forgotten Magic School).
- Reshuffle all decks you searched in the Library.
- Gain [icon, 3].
Notes on the Card
- The card's text is the only rules text printed on it. This document reproduces that text and does not add rules beyond it.
- The "[icon, 3]" after "Gain" in each panel is the numbered circular token printed on the card. Its meaning is taken from the Black Rose Wars base game's icon key, which this file does not restate.
- The "[card-stack icon, 4]" in the lower panel is the card-stack symbol printed with the number 4. It is transcribed as printed. The card's wording "take" does not appear in the photo; the lower panel reads "Search through and [icon] 4 from any school of magic" as printed.
- The three symbols at the top of the upper panel and the three at the bottom of the lower panel are school-of-magic symbols with no printed rules text of their own. They are not identified or transcribed as rules here.
- The terms "Memories", "Grimoire", "hand limit", "school of magic", "Forgotten Magic School" and "Library" are used as defined in the Black Rose Wars base rules; this file does not restate them.
- The "Kickstarter 2nd Wave Gift" label along the card's edge is a promo label, not a rule, and is not transcribed as rules text.
- The copyright line along the card's edge is not transcribed.
