Card Front
The card's front has a vertical cream panel on its left with the header 名誉 (meiyo, "honour") in orange brush lettering. Below the header, from top to bottom, are the following printed icons:
- Footprint symbol inside a black ring. The footprints are a movement marker, shown in the ring with no number printed beside it.
- Sparkle symbol (a small four-pointed star cluster), with the number 1 printed beside it.
- Golden koi-like fish (a gold, scaled fish), with the number 4 printed beside it.
- Two icons on one line, separated by a diagonal stroke with the number 1 written beside it:
- a grey, mossy stone creature, shown on the left of the line;
- a green-rimmed circle containing a mossy stone creature and a small blue-hooded figure, shown on the right of the line.
The right half of the card is a painted artwork of a tiger-like beast, with no printed rules text.
Card Back
The back of the card shows the Chinese character 徳 (toku, "virtue") in black brush lettering on a yellow background, framed by a dragon-like serpent in purple and gold. The back carries no rules text.
Disclosed Gaps
- No prose text. The card prints icons and numbers only. This transcription records those icons and values exactly as printed and does not add a rule that the card does not print.
- Icon meanings are not printed on the card. The footprint, sparkle, koi-like fish, and stone-creature icons are described by appearance only. Their meanings, and how the values combine, are not stated on the card. A BGG user summary of the card describes it as moving your marker on the Bitoku Path and then receiving an Iwakura Rock (the koi-like icon, value 4) and/or placing a Pilgrim (value 1) on a Rock Path space next to an Iwakura Rock. That summary is not a rules document and has not been checked against the physical card, so it is not transcribed as rules here.
- Sparkle icon. The meaning of the sparkle icon with the value 1 is not confirmed by the card scan.
- Base rules. The meaning of the Bitoku Path, Iwakura Rocks, Pilgrims, and the reward types is in the base Bitoku rulebook, under "The Bitoku Path" and "Iwakura Rocks". Use those sections to resolve any icon not described here.
