Brief Instructions

At the start the animal pairs always stand with their backs to each other in a circle around the play meadow. The figures may be turned once the matching colour has been thrown on the dice. 1 little flower card is given out for each pair of the same colour that are facing each other. The first person to collect 5 cards wins the game.

Preparing for the Game

The colourful round play meadow is placed so that it can be comfortably reached by all players. All the little flower cards are placed in a pile in the centre of the meadow. The individual animals are placed outside the play meadow by the field that matches their colour (e.g. cat with blue background by the play meadow's blue coloured field). All the animals stand in a circle with their backs to the play meadow. They are therefore not looking at each other. The two coloured dice are now laid out and the game can start.

Playing the Game

Both the coloured dice are thrown, at the same time or one after the other. The colours thrown on the dice show which animal figures may be turned. Two play figures must always be moved with each go.

For example, if the player throws blue and green on the dice, a blue cat and a green cow may be turned round so that they are both looking into the middle of the circle. If the next player should then throw yellow and green, they then turn a yellow horse and ideally the second green cow round to face the circle. Now both cows are looking at each other and the second player receives a flower card for this. If a player throws green again, then they turn one of the two cows to face outwards again. This constantly results in new possibilities for turning the animals inwards to look at each other and collecting rewards for this.

However it may happen that one player succeeds in turning two animals round in one go so that two new animal pairs are looking at each other. This great performance is rewarded with two flower cards. The same applies if a player throws the same colour with both dice and can thus turn both animals of this colour inwards in one go.

End of the Game

The winner is the player who is the first to collect 5 flower cards and has given the most pretty flowers to the animals.
