Presentation and Preparation

  • 28 special wooden dice (20 standard size, 4 medium size, 4 large size).
  • The players share out all the dice as follows:
N° of players23456
N° of large dice per player2111 or 11 or 1
N° of medium dice per player2111 or 11 or 1
N° of small dice per player106543

The "or" entries in the 5- and 6-player columns are printed as alternatives: each player receives either 1 large or 1 medium die in that column, as shown in the sheet's table.

Purpose of Game

To get rid of all the dice by stacking them up on the common pile.

How the Game Is Played

Start of Game

The throwing of a "G" decides who begins.

This player then throws all his dice: to start the pile he must get a "G". He then puts this dice in the centre of the table. If the first player does not get a "G" it's the next player's turn and so on until one player gets a "G". As soon as a player has placed the "G" at the bottom of the pile he can begin to pile up his dice in ascending order if his throw gave him a 2, then a 3, then a 4, then a 5, then a 6, then once again a "G", etc. (fig. 1)

How the Game Is Played

In turn the following players throw their dice and place them on the pile, always in ascending order.

The players do not have to place all possible dice on the pile resulting from their throw, but they must place one dice on the pile if they can.

From the second round onwards the players can choose the dice they wish to throw and those they wish to keep: at least one dice has to be thrown each time.

When a player knocks over the pile or a part of the pile he must add all the fallen dice to his own (fig. 2).

"G"

The "G" side of the dice is worth "1" point but can also be a joker: it can represent any value (fig. 3).

When the "G" is used to represent a value other than "1" the player must turn it over so the correct value is visible on the pile.

End of Game

The first player to have placed all his dice on the pile has won.

The runners-up are determined by:

  1. continuing the game
  2. or by counting their remaining dice, the one with the fewest dice is second, etc.
