1 Jumping Monkey, 1 Banana Tree, 12 Bananas, 1 Die and 1 Sticker Sheet.
Object of the Game
To be the player who has the most bananas at the end of the game.
Setup
- Insert the bananas into the holes around the banana tree.
- Place the banana tree in the center of the table.
- Place Banana Joe on top of the pin. Press him down until he stays securely attached.
Dice Stickers
How the stickers are placed on the dice: the die has six faces, each with a sticker showing one of the following symbols. Two faces show a single banana (pick 1 banana), two faces show a bunch of two bananas (pick 2 bananas), one face shows a leaf-wrapped banana (offer a banana), and one face shows a hand grabbing bananas (steal a banana).
Playing the Game
The player who jumps the highest goes first.
The game proceeds clockwise.
On their turn, each player rolls the die and performs the required action:
- Pick 1 banana and place it in front of you.
- Pick 2 bananas (one at a time) and place them in front of you.
- Offer a banana to the player of your choice. Skip a turn if it is not possible.
- Steal a banana from the player of your choice. Skip a turn if it is not possible.
Any touched banana must be collected. You cannot change your mind!
Stay focused - Banana Joe can jump at any moment!
If several players catch the monkey at the same time, the winner is the one with their hand underneath.
During the game, players must keep both hands on the table, palms down. Except, of course, when they have to roll the die or collect bananas!
End of the Game
When Banana Joe jumps into the air, all players must try to catch him before he hits the ground.
- The player who catches Banana Joe gets a bonus! They can steal 2 bananas (in total) from the players of their choice.
- No catch, no bonus!
The game is over. Count your bananas to see who wins!
