Before You Begin

Sort the cards into 5 piles: one pile for Skalman, one for Lille Skutt, one for Farmor, one for the Wolf, and one with the Dunder-honey jars.

There are 8 Skalman cards, 8 Lille Skutt cards, 8 Farmor cards, 14 Wolf cards and 106 honey-jar cards. Place the cards in their respective piles with the picture side facing up.

Before the game starts, set aside the start tile (with the green dot) and the goal tile (with the red dot). Place the remaining puzzle tiles face down on the table. Then each player takes 8 honey-jar cards.

Each player rolls the die once. The player with the highest roll starts.

Building the Game Board

Begin by placing the green start tile. Then, in turn order, each player rolls the die and places as many puzzle tiles as the die shows. Place the puzzle tiles after the start tile, in the order in which you drew them.

You may arrange the tiles in any pattern you like. For example:

The player who places the last puzzle tile receives 5 extra honey jars. To place the last tile, you must roll exactly as many pips on the die as there are tiles left. If you cannot, the next player in turn may try.

Finally, place the red goal tile.

Now the Honey Hunt Can Begin

The players place their game pieces on the start tile and take turns rolling the die. You move the number of steps the die shows.

Each time you land on a tile with Skalman, Lille Skutt, Farmor or the Wolf, you draw a card and read what is written on the back of the card. Then you return the card to the bottom of the same pile.

If you land on a BAMSE tile, you simply stay where you are.

If you land on a tile with a honey jar, you take as many jars as the tile shows.

To reach the goal, you must roll exactly as many pips on the die as you have tiles left to go. The first player to reach the goal receives 5 jars. The second receives 3 jars, the third receives 2 jars and the fourth receives 1 jar.

When everyone has reached the goal, each player counts their jars. The player with the most honey jars has won.

Good luck!
