When do I do the Starting Asset Draft and the Endgame Condition Draft?
Both variants' rulebook text says what they replace in setup.

Do the Starting Asset Draft during setup, in place of handing out the starting assets printed on your Path board; the rulebook gives each player a fixed starting set (2 Scientists, 1 Engineer, 2 Energy Cores, 2 Water) plus the four drafted cards. The Endgame Condition Draft takes the place of randomly selecting the 5 Endgame Condition cards.
