Initial Position

In the initial position, there are 12 light stones and 12 dark stones on a 9x9 board, arranged in the corners. A red stone is placed in the middle, i.e. on the crown.

Game Turn

Each turn, a player moves a piece into an empty square in one of 3 ways.

Sliding Movement

A stone can be moved horizontally or vertically in any direction, but only to its last free square, that is, until it hits an obstacle (another stone) or the end of the game board.

Jumping Movement

Outside the marked central area on the board, you can move the stone in an L-shape (like a knight in chess), going over any other pieces.

Corner Movement

A stone can be moved from corner to corner, diagonally, if there is an empty space.

Red Stone

The red stone that starts in the center of the board is neutral and can be moved by any player. However, it cannot be moved two times in a row, so that players do not compete for it.

Game End

The goal of the game is to place your own stone (not the Red one) in the center with the crown. This is called coronation. The player who manages to move his or her piece into the central square of the board immediately wins the game.
