Components
According to the BGG listing, the Hythian promo contains:
- 1 Hythian race tile
- 3 Hythian Power Reactor cards
- 1 Hythian Main Reactor (2 cards, 4 colors)
Race Tile: Hythian
The race tile reads:
Hythian
YOUR REACTORS provide 3 Energy.
Hythian Power Reactor
Three copies. The scan shows the card name and the reactor art. A red circle with the number 1 is visible in the top-right corner of the top copy, and the other copies are covered by it. The rules text area is not visible in the scan, so no rules text is transcribed for this card.
Hythian Main Reactor
Two card faces are shown: one blue and one red. Both read:
- Name: Hythian Main Reactor
- Bottom-left value: 3 Energy
- Text: Counts as a Power Reactor.
The red face also shows an orange puzzle-piece icon in the bottom-right corner with the number 2. The blue face's bottom-right corner is cropped, so only the orange piece is visible there. The meaning of the puzzle-piece icon and its number is not printed in any legible text, so it is not transcribed as a rule.
Notes on Gaps
- The scans show neither the reverse faces of the Main Reactor cards nor the other two colors of the Main Reactor.
- The rules text of the Hythian Power Reactor is not visible in the scan.
- The scans do not show how or when the Hythian cards are used in setup or play, including which Main Reactor a Hythian player uses. A 2014 BGG forum thread (thread 1244266) discusses a swap with a color-matched Hythian Main Reactor. That is community discussion and is not printed on the cards, so it is not transcribed here as a rule.
