In Age of Steam Denmark, how far does Links go up when you pass on a delivery or use Locomotive?
The designer says there is only one possible new Links value and that the printed rules and example are correct.
You do not choose the value. Links move to the single next value allowed by train supply (there are only N-1 trains of each rank), up to a maximum of 9, so the jump can be more than +1. For example, with others at 6 and 7 Links, a player at 3 goes to 7. Each +1 costs $2 income. The designer later noted his earlier forum wording was poor and that the printed rules and example are correct.
