Jamaica

Jamaica is a map for 2 players.

Setup

Remove New Cities E, F, G, and H from the game. Place 4 Goods cubes on Montego Bay and 4 Goods cubes on Port Royal. Place 1 cube in the first two rows of boxes under the white Cities on the Goods Display. If a cube is placed on a City (or the Goods Display column for a City) that matches the color of the cube, replace it with another randomly drawn cube.

Track Costs

Plain tiles cost $2, mountains cost $4, and dark mountains cost $5.

Player Order

The Player Order phase happens before Issue Shares (there is no auction for turn order). Player order alternates each turn, with the player going first paying $5. If the player does not want to (or cannot) pay the $5, the other player has the option to pay $5 to go first instead. If the other player declines, the original player goes first for free. The Turn Order action is not available.

Production and Goods Growth

Goods cubes of the same color as the City may not be placed on that City's Goods Display column. Roll 3 dice for Goods Growth each turn.

Game End

The turn marker is not used. The game ends at the end of the first turn when there are no Goods cubes remaining in any City on Jamaica.

Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is a map is for 1 solo player.

(The sheet reads "Puerto Rico is a map is for 1 solo player." as printed.)

Setup and Difficulty

Mix the number of Goods cubes for your selected difficulty level and randomly place 2 cubes on each town.

Choosing Actions

You may pay $5 to choose the Engineer action or the Locomotive action (no further actions are available). If you do not choose one of these two actions, you pay nothing.

Delivering Cubes

Both red and black Goods cubes may be delivered to San Juan. Only red Goods cubes score income.

Phases

There are no Auction or Goods Growth phases.

Game End

The game ends after 10 turns (when the turn marker reaches the 3 player end spot). If any black Goods cubes have not been delivered, your score is reduced by 10 income for each black cube remaining.
