Card Layout
The Kain the Dancer mat has a front and a back. The front shows the player number, life, starting hand, starting deck, and the Void Waltz ability. The back gives the complexity rating and the breach ability. The two player cards are a spell and a relic.

Card Notes
- Kain's Player Number and Life: the labels are printed on the front of the mat with no values beside them on the scan, so no values are given here.
- Token icon: the Void Waltz and Spirit breach text print a token icon. It is transcribed as "aether token," the currency the base rulebook calls aether. This is a judgment call based on the icon's identity; the printed icon itself is not a word.
- Spirit breach: the back of the mat marks Kain's III breach as the Spirit breach. The additional damage and token gain apply to spells cast from that breach while it is open.
- Blackened Orb: the card gives two modes joined by "OR". Both modes name any player's prepped spell, not only the relic player's.
- Missing booklets: the two Narrative Expedition Booklets are not transcribed. Any expedition-specific rules they contain are therefore absent from this file.
