Meet the class's listed prerequisites; levels in your starting class count. Every hero can take basic class level 1, no more than two heroes can be level 2 or higher in a basic class and only one can be level 3 or higher. Each elite class can be taken by just one hero. Character artwork on the card does not limit who can take a class.
