What is the difference between class level and character level, and which class am I?

Question

Accepted Answer

Character level is the total number of level-up cards you hold across all classes (maximum 10). Class level counts cards in one class (maximum 5). Your class is the first basic class you chose until you take a level in an elite class. In the rulebook's Taliyah example the printed text calls her a Level 3 Cleric, but the designer says the corrected rulebook reads that she is a level 2 Cleric and a level 3 character overall. Level requirements in scenarios use the character level.
