How do bone towers, elevation and overlapping bone prisons work?

The square a Skeletal Archer stands on is not a wall, and if you destroy that section, treat the archer as not on a tower. A Lancer's Heavy Dive technically needs the extra range for shooting up at a tower because there are no full elevation rules, though the designer says ruling otherwise is reasonable. A new bone prison on a hero replaces or refreshes the old one.
