The Kochfix tray is placed in the middle of the table at the start of the game. Kochfix coffee cups are placed on it when they are drawn during play.
The Kochfix bonus tiles are shuffled face down during setup and placed next to the Kochfix tray.
The Kochfix coffee cups are shuffled together with the other coffee cups during setup. This is done only after each player has drawn a coffee cup from the base game.
Bonus Tiles
The bonus tiles mostly bring victory points (chef's hats). There is also a cooking star to win.
The primrose in the flower pot is a consolation prize. It scores no points.
Playing with Kochfix
If a player draws a Kochfix coffee cup during the game, he or she places it on a free space of the Kochfix tray. The player then draws a new coffee cup in its place. This can repeat if the player draws further Kochfix coffee cups.
The next player who finishes a dish takes a Kochfix bonus tile and removes one Kochfix coffee cup from the tray. That coffee cup is removed from the game entirely.
The Gamer's Best Dish
The Gamer's Best dish is placed in the middle of the table. It can be chosen like any other dish.
The dish has all colors, meaning it can be taken without restriction.
Special rules for Gamer's Best: it cannot be over-seasoned or over-salted, so 3 or more condiments of the same color are allowed. However, the player does not receive a cooking star for this dish.
Gamer's Best cannot burn, but it must have at least heating level 1.
