Setting Up

Place the Board and 3 dice on the table. Place a blue cube on each blue square.

Game Play

The players take turns. Each turn is divided into 3 phases. The blue team sits opposite the red team. The red player begins the game.

I. Preparation

The active player rolls the 3 dice then performs up to 3 actions of their choice (identical and / or different).

  • A. Re-roll one of your dice.
  • B. Increase the value of a die by 1.
  • C. Lower the value of a die by 1.

II. Attack

If the player succeeds in making a triple (the values of the 3 dice are identical), they take the corresponding action.

  • Red player: Destroy 1, 2 or 3 blue cubes.
  • Blue player: Move 1 or 2 cubes by one square (the same cube can be moved twice).

III. Victory Check

If a blue cube lands on a red square, the blue player wins. If all blue cubes are destroyed, the red player wins. If the end of the game has not been triggered, a new round begins.

Board Reference

The board is a grid of 3 columns by 5 rows. The blue squares are the six squares in the first two rows, and each holds one blue cube at setup. The red squares are the three squares in the bottom row. The middle row has no special squares. The board also shows the action icons for Preparation (re-roll, increase and lower) on its right edge.

The board prints the results of each triple, which the rules text describes in general terms:

  • Red player triples: a triple of 1, 2 or 3 destroys 1 blue cube. A triple of 4 or 5 destroys 2 blue cubes. A triple of 6 destroys 3 blue cubes.
  • Blue player triples: a triple of 1, 2 or 3 moves 1 blue cube by one square. A triple of 4, 5 or 6 moves 2 blue cubes by one square each (the same cube can be moved twice).
