Overview
Age: from 2 years old. No. of players: from 1 to 4. Duration of the game: approximately 10 minutes. Game type: cooperative game. Contents: 4-piece board-puzzle, the wolf's path, 2 pieces, 1 house, 1 die, 3 pigs, 1 wolf, 6 flower pieces and game instructions. Aim of the game: the three pigs have to get home before the wolf gets there and comes down the chimney.
How to Play
Set up the board-puzzle, set up the house in its place, and put the wolf's path on the back part of the house, next to the stairs. Put the pigs on their starting squares (on the arrows), and the wolf on the arrow for its path. The 6 flower pieces are placed on the circles on the board, randomly, and with the flower face-up.
The youngest child goes first, and the game is played in a clockwise direction. Take turns throwing the die.
What does the die show?
- Yellow, blue or red: Move a pig that has a box the colour that was rolled right in front of it. If none of the pigs can move forward, it's the next player's turn.
- White: Move the pig that you want forward.
- Black: The wolf moves forward.
- Flower: You go around a flower piece. If it's a wolf, then it moves forward one square, and if it's the pigs, the three of them move one square at the same time.
The house entrance is the last square of each path.
If the wolf gets home first, the game is over.
