Components
10 dwarves numbered 0 to 9 (the basic game uses only 0 to 6).
4 character cards.
Setup
Shuffle all the dwarves and line them up face down in the center of the table.
The youngest player starts.
Object of the Game
Turn over all the dwarves in order, starting with number 0.
Sequence of Play
The game proceeds in turns, clockwise.
On your turn you MUST take exactly one of the following actions:
Action 1
Secretly look at two cards from the center of the table. Then you must place one of them face down in front of you, and put the other back in the center of the table.
Then your turn ends.
If only one card remains, you can simply look at it and place it in front of you.
If no cards remain, you CANNOT take Action 1.
Action 2
Turn over a card belonging to ANOTHER PLAYER. You must turn over the 0 first, then the 1, and so on until you reach the 9. If you skip any number, Snow White will be so furious that you all lose the game.
If you turn over a dwarf correctly, you MAY take another action, which can be either 1 or 2. When you do not want to take any more actions, your turn ends.
Clarification: You can check your own cards at any time, but not the cards in front of the other players.
End of Your Turn
When you end your turn, you may state the relationship between any two cards (for example: "this card is lower than that other one"). Then the next player to your left begins their turn.
End of the Game
When you manage to turn over all the dwarves in order, you all win! When you turn over a dwarf wrongly, you lose immediately.
Character Cards (Optional Rule)
During setup, each player takes a character card and places it face up in front of them. Each character's effect can be used only once; turn it face down once you use it.
Adjusting the Difficulty
You can decrease the number of dwarves to make it easier; for example, use only dwarves 0 to 6. Using the characters also reduces the difficulty. To make it harder, during setup, deal each player one dwarf card face down and place the rest in the center of the table as usual.
