Yokohama
Can I have both a Shophouse and a Trading House in the same area?
The rulebook allows one Shophouse per player per site and a single Trading House space.

Yes, one of each, and they count as a single icon for the Achievement C cards. Different players may each hold a Shophouse in an area, but only one Trading House can ever be built there.
