What happens when The Kiln's orbit runs into the Rikishi comet?
The designer rules out passing through. Either The Kiln stops short as it does for a blocked space, or The Kiln and everyone docked in it are destroyed, which he preferred for the risk. If it is destroyed it respawns at the start of the next turn.
