Does an NPC crossing an ice asteroid field take ice damage, and can its shields absorb it?
An NPC rolls the ice check like a player, can use its shields, and is destroyed only if the damage exceeds its threshold. Ice damage only grows during a player's turn, so for NPCs it works like regular damage.
