The covered dragon counts as one newly tucked card, so the hatchling's tuck bonus triggers once. Cards and resources already on the covered dragon do not count as new tucks or caches. If the total tucked cards are then three or more, the third-card bonus is checked; reports differ on whether it fires right away or at the next tuck, and it fires only once per game either way.
