Do the printed starting caves count as cave cards for the Guild of Highlands bonus?
The publisher account answered tentatively and another player points to the rulebook's cave card icon; no firmer ruling.

No. The bonus counts cave cards only, and the printed starting caves are part of the player mat, not cards.
